Is it strange that I'm completely addicted to votefortheworst.com and I'm still a member here?

I find the reviews grounding, especially when I get hyped up about a contestant. VFTW provides a Devil's Advocate sort of thing for me. Especially when the judges over-compliment someone. I learned through them that Carly and some others had experience before Idol. I don't vote for who they tell me to, of course, but there are a lot of interesting viewpoints on the site. I've also read the DC thread in the forums, and I find it laughable. x] And their nicknames for the finalists are hilarious.


I was wondering, what does everyone else think of VFTW?

I think a lot of the stuff they talk about there is interesting. I check the site for new stuff a lot. I just don't "vote for the worst" I vote for my favorite!

I think that site really rude. Because there is no "worst" singer. They all sound great in their own right. They just have different arranges to the original songs. But saying that you should vote for the worst, just proves that they're arrogant. And can't enjoy fine talent that these up and coming artists have.

I'm like you. I don't vote for who they say, obviously, but I do enjoy reading it. It's always funny, and occasionally even insightful.

I haven't been there yet this season, though. Who is "the worst"?

Last I checked, which was a few weeks ago, it was Amanda. I'm sure they will or they already have turned it to KLC.

It is now KLC yes. Although, they said they're only picking her because it seems like everyone they pick is jinxed and gets sent home immediately. lol

Yeah I hope they're right and Kristy gets booted next week. lol.

As do the rest of us. lol

To me, I don't think anyone is "the worst" on there, besides Kristy Lee Cook.
I can't stand her with a passion.

I know they were saying Danny Noriega before, & I voted for him because I absolutely adored the guy.. I was so bummed when he went home.
They jinxed him, those arses haha.

I don't bother all that much with VFTW, but I can understand the devil's advocate thing. I do have a problem with them telling people to vote for the person they consider the worst. To me it comes across as a group of people trying to "stick it "to Fox or AI, but at the same time they're playing with people's careers. The so called "worst" is going to be laughed at and the people who deserve a contract may not get one...at least not right away.

Absolutely. There's no else person in AI who I hate as much as Kristy. : D Haha. I just can't stand her as a person and I also think She has been boring almost every single week.

Ya know, before I rreally got hooked on AI for DC, I was going to VFTW like every day. I think it's hilarious. I don't like some of the things they say about Cookiemonster, but hey, they're assholes. They just happen to be assholes with good senses of humor.
And the fact that they picked Kristy makes me laugh:)
I just wish it was "DON'T vote for the worst" so she really would leave.

haha Some of the things that they say on there are just so awfully ridiculous that they're hilarious! Especially the people on the boards! It's like they try SO hard to find flaws in all of the contestants, and with the one who are talented like our David, they just make stuff up! *cough*claiming that he's gay b/c he has a bandanna in his pocket*cough* I mean that's just ridiculous!

Didn't Amanda say something about being on that site in an interview with Ryan or did I read that somewhere? She just laughed about it I think.

I try to stay as far away from votefortheworst as possible. It makes me angry.

Now that Kristy is gone, the new pick is Brooke. I think that's pretty funny since a lot of us really like her.

Brooke was actually my second fave, but the last few weeks she has really disappointed me. I hope she comes through for me this week!

Yeah, same here. She used to be tied with Jason as my second favorite, but recently I've started to like Jason even more, and like Brooke less. I still have faith in her, though.

I don't think VFTW has officially declared their next pick yet. At least I don't see it anywhere on the site and their banner at the top still says "Who's next?" But it's looking like Jason and Brooke are the most likely candidates.

EDIT: Nevermind, just saw on the forum there that Brooke is their next official pick, like betaxfish said. Haha, uhm... congratulations, Brooke?

Brooke? Wow...Not sure why I'm so surprised by that. I guess because to me, Syesha is far worse. :/

They really dislike Syesha over there and find her pretty boring. Brooke is more fun, I guess. Hey, votes is votes, right?


i agree, her performances haven't been that great lately - i think she peaked at let it be - but i know there's greatness in her somewhere. :]

Well, im quite addicted to VFTW as well though at times i get really irked when they start dissing DC or Chris Daughtry... but mostly the writers there do have good taste and they do have extremely funny posts and comments about the contestants and the judges which happen to be spot on most of the time. But i dont really take everything they post there seriously. Its all just fun for me... and I'm always eager to know what mean things they can say about the judges espcially Paula!!...
