On Idol Tonight, Simon just said it was like watching a completely different show when he re-watched it!! He said it was much different watching the re-run, than being in the audience. Both he and Randy agreed that it was much closer than they thought and Simon recanted his "Knockout Decision" comment. He looked almost embarassed that he got it so wrong! Wow! The drama deepens!

He also said he thinks the fact that they were praising Archie so much last night might have actually helped Cookie.
Innnnnteresting.

I'm glad Simon apologized. He was certainly rude to David Cook last night and he didn't deserve it at all!
OUR NEW AMERICAN IDOL....DAVID COOK! I'll never tire of saying that!!!

I was so happy that Simon apologized! Cookie totally deserved it, and was a little shocked by it as well! Kudos to the man for having the guts to admit he was wrong!

I am glad that Simon can admit to his mistakes. David looked a little taken aback by it.

I think he said what he said to DC on purpose. It made everyone vote harder than ever before.
And then he retracted it today after voting was over.
He's the highest paid whatever for a reason. Now HE is one smart cookie!

I said to my cousin, before the show started, I bet my life, Simon will say "i watched the show back lastnight, and i was wrong" something along those lines!!!!!!!

I am very glad Simon apologized to DC. That was unexpected and it was clear from DC's expression that he was indeed surprised with it as well. He didn't know if he is expected to say something but his eyes were like saying oh my, thank you simon.

I guess now it doesn't matter hehe. But I really liked the way Simon apologized, I am sure he must have been really embarrased to go to the extremes {apologizing} hehe.
GO COOKIE!
