I liked the song our David picked better because #1 it rocked out more and over time will be easier to take.

The lyrics spoke more of an outward thinking persepective and that of someone more mature compared to DA's which was that whole..."I WON AND YOU CAN'T TAKE IT AWAY FROM ME" drivel.

Over the long haul, I tell you David Cook's song will outsell Archies.

Also, vote for DC for a very good reason. Stage Dad from Hell Archuletta is going to make the process of making DA's record horrible and excruciating and drawn out so he can f-ck over DC. He is a shrewd guy and doesn't play nice.

The Winner's album comes out first and if DA and daddy DA are in the drivers seat with an AI win, it will be a long while until we hear DC's debut. And hopefully AI hasn't barred him from releasing his Axium and Solo albums either while DA is making his record.

No, all voting is open for 4 hours. In the midwest voting was from 8 pm to midnight. Trust me, if it was still open, I would be voting.

I don't think dial idol has ever been wrong on a red? Also if you look at the four season finales they've done, all each one was correct and by about the same margin except carrie/bo. Thinking positive. I think David has the power voters - the little kids can't stay up that late.

This isn't really relevant anymore, but typing is keeping me awake...

So, I watched the end of yesterday's show while I was on the phone with my friend, and by the end she was half laughing at how defensive I was getting over Cookie, and half angry that the judges were fawning over DA. She's on my side, just not as intense.

Oh, and my sister told me she feared for my sanity. I told her I was merely devoted.

Anyways, the point is... I was angry with the judges earlier. Cookie NEEDS to win, or I will spiral down into a bad case of insanity. Serious.

All i can say is...i lost a ton of respect for Simon tonight. He goes on tv and praises Cook to high heaven, only to be incredibly harsh with his comments tonight. My heart completely broke when he finished his last song, and he started crying. As someone else mentioned...like he was crushed that his best wouldn't be enough. I've said it in other threads...but they have forever lost me as a viewer, regardless of what the results are tomorrow.
