New poster here, nice to meet all of you and I hope to settle in more here in the future! Today has brought me out of lurkdom to register. Just wanted to share the love and say I will be watching with Go Phone charged and ready tonight. Thinking about going to Target and getting another one at lunch. He's worked so hard for this and fought his way through on sheer talent and it's been a gift every week to watch him. He DESERVES this.

I have to work tonight which sucks buuuut I have about 4 other people to sned me info and numbers and such while Im there so I can secretly vote until I get home and watch my tape HAHA. I also convinced my friend with ATT to just sit there and text vote as well. Just cause it would make me happy.

I am anxious with anticipation with a little over six hours to go. Might take a nap to help me get through East Coast & West Coast voting times since I can vote in West Coast tonight, too (told my houseguest he couldn't leave until after Tuesday night so that I could vote for David with his phone - I'm a terrible hostess, especially because I allow ZERO talking while David is on screen).

Why do i get the feeling i will be getting no sleep at all tonight? Maybe because after our voting ends on the East Coast, i will be stuck to my computer watching to see what all the West Coasters are able to do.

gahhh i can't watch either tonight OR tomorrow!!

my brother is graduating from 5th grade to 6th grade (lame) tonight and tomorrow is my high school graduation.

i'm tivo-ing both nights but i won't get to see it live!!!!!!! gahhhhhh i'm so sad.

i'm still voting though. even if i have to vote during my brother's graduation.

Hey, I was wondering if anyone could tell me how Gizmo works. Hitting redial for 4 hours might do me in and I heard you can register 25 votes per minute. Will it work on a wireless network. My husband and I both surf the net after getting our kids in bed. I'm giving up my surfing time tonight to vote, but I know he will want to use his laptop between 8-10 PM Central time. Gizmo will also vote all 7 hours for you? How is that?

Hey everyone...4 hours!

I got home from my classes and took a nap, so I'm well rested. But...sadly to say, I have the stomach flu and I'm really sick to my stomach and I'm experiencing all the "joys" that come with the flu

But...I'm still ready for tonight!!!

There is a thread on here somewhere about how Gizmo works - if you do a search for it, it should pop up.

Well, i can't get Gizmo5 to work for me. So i use their website to vote. You don't have to wait between calls that way. However, the last two weeks i've had a really hard time getting through using Gizmo

But since i don't have AT&T as my cell phone provider, i'm still going to try and use it to go along side DI.

I couldn't still get gizmo work with my phone, and I can't use computer at the voting time, I mean I must go now and after that I cant use this anymore today. This sucks. I'm assuming they are confusing the repeat song with Clive's choice?

My hand is already hurting,because I've been sitting on the computer for the last 5-6 hours,surfing around here.I wonder how bad it'll be after the 4 hour voting XD.But I don't care if I couldn't use my hand for a week after this,as long as I get as many votes in as possible!

Oh,and please update as the show goes on,because I really want to know what DC is singing and how he's doing and what are the judges saying,and I can't wait for someone to post the videos...Just don't be posting during the voting!!

Hi all! Just interested to know where it is actually confirmed by TPTB that voting is open 4 hours?

Well, whatever it is, I know we are all prepped for 4 so anything else is cake but get those power bars and power shakes and energy boosters ready because we are ready to ROCK THE VOTE FOR DC.

Last year I can assure you they had 4 hours of voting for both Idol Gives back and the following week. After that, I'm not sure if they kept that up or not (as my fave was one of the two knocked off after Bon Jovi week... sniff sniff) but I am pretty sure it was 4 hours for the finale voting too. It was a pain. But I got thru it. I know I can do it again for Cook!!!

hi people... I'm just wondering if there's any way whatsoever to watch the show live on the web?... I live in venezuela, and it'll be a week before the show goes on tv, obviously I do not intend on waiting that long, so I'd really like to watch it live tonight... isn't there a streaming signal for any of the local fox networks in the US? I have two programs, (sopcast and tvuplayer), which get lots of channels from around the world online, but they have no FOX... please if any of you could help me I'd be really grateful

I already have 500 text votes stored on my new AT&T phone, waiting to send as soon as the show is over. These will be 500 in the bonus column, since I have never texted votes before.

In addition, I will (of course) be doing the usual landline redial.
