I don't want to tick anyone off here and I have yet to read the previous comments because my husband and I just finished watching AI. But...I have to say that Archuleta was pretty fantastic tonight regardless of what you may think of him. He has never been my favorite but you have to concede that he was in his element tonight and, as Randy said, picked a good time to peak. You're not alone. Archie was great tonight. But Big David has been great all season and is the more well-rounded performer. Look, either way, both of them are going to be HUGE.

I keep telling her that if I wanted to buy a CD full of ballads, that's what I'd buy. But I admire David for taking risks, and appreciate that. Therefore, that is why he has gotten my 300+ votes.

Dial Idol has always been accurate for the past couple of seasons I've used it.
I don't think Simon realized the fire he put under the DC fans thanks to all his harsh comments tonight. I have enlisted help from people who don't even watch Idol just to get them calling in to vote! I'm still upset though. I can't believe he didn't even really give one compliment about Cookie's singing tonight..

West Coaster here! LIVID by the judges comments but more determined than ever (I upgraded to unlimited text messaging JUST for David!) Question (and it's a stupid one, sorry in advance). After I have sent my first text vote, if I hit "resend" is that like I was sending a whole new text? Does that make sense? lol I just want to get in as many texts as I can without having to create a whole new text. Every second counts and I want to make the best of these 4 hours!
Oh, and don't worry. I'll have another phone in my other hand calling in and redialing

i don't think it was archie's night... i mean it must be since evryone is saying that, but for me..he wasn't that great, i think he has an awesome really great voice, but its maybe cause im not into pop romantic balads, that i really dont like his songs... i get bored.
