For what it's worth, I wasn't planning to 'power vote' for David C. like many of you are doing. I'm the type of person who will vote for him a few times and let the chips fall where they may (even though I'm a HUGE fan of his). But since DC didn't get the highest marks tonight, I've texted in significantly more votes than usual. Hopefully other DC fans will have the same idea, and follow suit. It's kind of like the "kiss of death" thing -- Simon's praises couldn't save Carly over Brooke; maybe they won't save Archie, either.

Dial Idol crapped out on me -- it just won't work right. We've gone to manually dialing the landline and are having success, 250 votes. However the regular cell phone dialing is almost useless, we're only getting in like 2 votes an hour. Texting w/ the Go Phone is up to 320.

OK, I must have been watching different performances than the judges. DA was horrible on his first song, passable on the second, and I haven't even watched Imagine yet, because I've seen it before (ok, now I've seen Imagine, and it was horrible compared to the first time he sang it).

Cook took ISHSWILF home, did what he could with the songwriter song, and was fabulous on TWIK. What the hell was in Simon's glass tonight? I hope he was purposely pissing off DC's fans to vote like mad (and it must be working because I'm hardly able to get through). David looked like he wanted to punch Simon after his last comments, and I love him that much more for standing up to Simon about his progression.

He so deserves to win this, I don't know how I'm even going to sleep tonight. DIAL, people!!
