Well I wasn't a fan of the eyeliner BUT GOOD GOD WE DID IT YA'LL. I screamed so loud the neighbors probably thought my husband was trying to kill me and I almost threw my 2 year old into the ceiling fan when I jumped up throwing my arms in the air with him in my hands. I am so freaking happy I want to run down the street naked screaming at the top of my lungs....eeeeeeeeeeeee DAVID COOK IS THE 2008 AMERICAN IDOL...thanks for not drawing it out too long Ryan. Oh yeah and I was crying like the Sanjaya (sp) girl as my girlfriends daugthers stared in disbelief at me freaking out---nah they knew it was coming either way. One of hubby's co-worker had to call and make sure "my guy" won---haha

David is the most incredible person. I had tears in my eyes too.

But I just got one hell of a good laugh.
On the Fox news cast after the show the woman accidentally started calling him America's Next Top Model.
I friggin lost it.

But he SO deserves this. More than anyone EVER.
I couldn't be happier for him, and everyone involved.
He's a class act all around, and exactly what Idol needed.
