OMG! I still can't believe it! I was waiting for Ryan to say Archuletta too. I was looking at Cook' s face and he looked like he thought Archie had won right before the big reveal. When Ryan said Cook I jumped up out of my chair and screamed and jumped up and down and was literally shaking. I still can't believe it but I'm so happy. I couldn't believe the 12 million vote separation. We owe Simon thanks for giving the fanbase the kick in the but we needed to pull this win off! LOL

That so funny. I was watching the show with my parents as well. My dad thought Cook should win but thought Archie was going to win so I think he was a little surprised too. My mother was as ecstatic as I was!

Well, I successfully managed not to scream but I had my mouth covered by a pillow to stop me lol. I also managed just to tear up until he started singing.

That's when I started to bawl harder than my two year-old godson ever has. Seriously, had to run to my mother for a hug lol.

This was hands down the best season I have ever watched, and to think I almost missed out (I stopped watching when Daughtry went home).

Thank god for David Cook and I wish him nothing but the best

I'm EXTREMELY happy for david.
I'm so proud of him, hes come so far.
But on the other side of the coin he can kiss writing his own songs for 2 years. his contract will most likely take that away from him. he will be lucky enough to co-write.

I'm so excited to see him in July, and i cant wait for what the future will hold for him!

I just was in shock cause (I'm ashamed to say this) I really thought Archuleta was going to win and I'm so glad I was proved wrong!! I was like OMG!!! and just screamed silently (It's kind of late here xD) and was just shocked. I also had a little tear of joy for him, especially when he was crying and hugging his brother! So sweet, he just totally deserved it.

Happiness tears fell from my eyes, then i was super excited and happy as hell! Also apparently i was Hyper, cause i was on msn and kept ranting and talking about it, about him, about everything, until my friends started asking are you ok hun? lool I was just so damn happy!!

I can't even begin to thank my fellow Word Nerds for doing whatever we could to make this happen. And David, what needs to be said about him? He is THE BEST. No other words for it!

I was shaking from the moment Ryan had the two of them on stage. Tried my damndest not to show it though. When Ryan said "Cook" I threw my hands up in the air and let out an "OH MY GOD! THANK YOU!" and I started to cry,but I had to hold it back b/c I had two male coworkers(one on either side of me) who I knew if they saw me cry they'd never let me live it down. I spent the next hour and a half at work fighting tears. Overwhelmed....so happy,I can't even explain.

Oh my gosh you guys, I am still on cloud 9! I totally jumped out of my seat with excitement! I couldn't scream because I didn't want to wake up my daughter! I just had this calming feeling throughout the day that he won and when it was announced it was amazing. AMAZING! I am soooo happy for him! Ah, I don't know if I can sleep tonight.

I was talking to my boyfriend on the phone who I think is getting pretty upset on all this David Cook addiction thing, then I suddenly screamed and he was like "what happened? what happened?" Then I screamed again and said, "david cook won!" and went like... "oh. good." Then I cried while talking to him and pretending I wasn't. It was pretty hard and fun and I was just so so soooooo happy for him.

My cousin said he would win, but then I made her be quiet because she tends to jinx things fairly easily. She also said I would scream and oh boy did I scream!!! I am currently paying for that, stupid throat won't let me hardly whisper a word. I had the windows open and apparently my neighbors heard me, because when we went outside, a few people were staring at my house. Oh well, it was for David! Anything that is for David is deffinately worth it!!!

I’m at work again, and I just got a flashback of yesterday morning, at about the same hour I was sitting here, after a three hour struggling with the Gizmo thing (hey, guess he didn’t need my 50 votes after all ;-) but whatever) and I was so exhausted and sad and worried because of the unfair comments from the judges and I didn’t think I could make it through the day.
And here I am now, as tired as yesterday but with a completely different feeling inside. I’m happy as h£ll, I think I could climb the f&cking Mount Everest.
What a journey. What a fairy tale come true.

YES! I dun usually buy albums, but i will buy when he releases! It's so amazing when i think about how DavidCook won by a landslide (12million, just imagine) and Cookie fans simply rock, we work hard for David because he had us all.

Well, it's the morning after and I STILL can't believe it. It seems so surreal. I don't know when it's going to sink in, but it hasn't yet I'm still so, so happy for David today. Last night was such a great moment.

The result was about 3am where I am, my bloke poured most of a bottle of wine down my throat last night in an attempt to get me to sleep and stop stressing about it (I was already wound up about my favourite getting fired from The Apprentice last night *shakes fist at Sir Alan Sugar*), didn't really work and then he kicked me out of bed at 6am telling me to *Bleeping go find out who won so I can Bleeping sleep*

It didn't really work because I saw the result and immediately went back in the bedroom and started bouncing up and down on the bed in excitment
