In a way I think he is soooo talented that it is strange to see him it a contest like idol. I think that not DA but DC is what AI is about: findind a true star, a true talent hidding somewhere in the USA. Someone like DC: he only needed one BIG chance to be seen

I just want to compliment everyone on this site. The worst thing I think I've seen is how boring we think David A is . We give him credit for having a great voice. On other sites for David A everyone is so mean. They are using horrible language to talk about DC. Just goes to show that DC has the best most classy fans in the world. Good job cookies.

Yeah I agree! I may crack a joke here and there, but it's all in joking. I actually like Archuleta as a singer, but I prefer David Cook.....you also have to remember Archuleta's fan base is fairly young and your going to get bashing like that from time to time, don't let it get to anyone and definitly don't try to bash back because it's not worth it...they will all grow up some day...

archuleta brought his A game and proved his crooning abilities but cook brought his range and proved his depth. there's an audience for both but in the end. cook is the definite draw for artistry.

I've noticed that myself. Most Cookies do give Archie his props, but Archie fans are always dumping on us and DC. I have a MySpace friend who swears up and down that she is "in love" with DA, Jason, and Danny Noriega, and she hates DC with a passion; even when we were at the Top 5, she kept jawing about how the producers "needed" to kick DC out and bring back Danny. I'm sorry, but Danny was not in the same class as the Davids, not by a longshot. I apologize if anyone liked Danny, but he just wasn't my thing.

But anyway, I'm glad that we're a great bunch here, inside and out. Kudos.

Hi all! Ok, I'm ready - got a glass of wine, a bowl of popcorn, DVR all set, kitties fed & I'm in position. My daughter (nurse_kj) is downtown at the official watch party. I just talked to her & asked her what she's wearing so I could find her (lol) - she's the one in a black Cookie shirt & holding a sign like everyone else's (they were given out). I'm hoping there's a good crowd - there are a few other watch parties in Blue Springs, but this is the one that will be shown on TV. It was crowded when he was here last week.

I just want to say that I hope Dialidol and zabasearch are right. This is the first year I've been excited about about Idol since season 4. I am and always will be a HUGE Bo Bice fan and this past year became a Bucky Covington fan. NEVER liked country in my life and a Bo friend turned me on to Bucky. The Bo fans ( damn....I'm on 7 Bo sites) have not voted since season 4. Talk about some pissed off people. Well....every site that I have been on, including numerous PM's asking for the phone#, the Bo fans voted their asses off for DC last nite and it seems that the Bucky fans on his main site were also. So anyway, I have been a DC fan since the beginning and proud to be one! Listening to the judges talking right now and Simon and Randy are calling it a draw after rewatching....gang that is a good sign. Bo and Carrie season, none of them changed their minds about Carrie. Oh hell....I will have to get up and walk around alot tonight.

Well, cookies, it's time for me to go to bed. It's 1.40 am here and I must wake up really early.
