I was just about to post the same thing.

I'm gonna miss this---weekly anticipation, song spoilers, voting marathons, subtle bashings and more importantly, David Cook's awesomeness every week.

It's all over.

I'm gonna miss season 7 so much. and david.



yeah no tours. it's in times like these that I hate that I'm here and not in America. gaaah.

well, the better man won. unlike in the past where shocking stuffs happened, this time, it was a shock too, but a shock tat proved to be too good!

We sit. We bitch. We wait for songs. LOL

I miss him already, too. But since he won, we'll be seeing him all over the place--on talk shows, news interviews, etc. etc. So that's a consolation.

I can't wait till his first album comes out and he goes on tour (not AI tour, but a David Cook tour--won't this be so great? Non-stop David Cook for a couple of hours!!!! Aaaaahhhhhhhhh!!!!!)

It is sad that Idol's over... this time every year, I wonder what I'm going to do with my life between now and January. Haha.

But just think! We have a tour (and Youtube videos of said tour, for those unfortunate ones like me who can't go to an actual show), tons of articles, television appearances, and an ALBUM to look forward to!

This is only the beginning. I for one can't wait for Phase Two.

The American Idols will be on Larry King this Friday (5/23) and next Monday (5/26).

is it two parts or a replay of the 5/23 show on 5/26?

i heard the winner will be on leno. on friday.

There will be a whirlwind of media coming up, then the tour (hopefully we will have some camera sleuths capturing every moment and bringing them back to us), and then probably his album will be coming out soon after that. THEN we'll really have to be worried!

I agree though, it's sad that Idol is over.

When Michael Johns left, I was feeling like WHAT NOW? But I've just followed every step of his, and every interview, every appereance makes me happy.

Imagine David Cook, that is THE AMERICAN IDOL! Tune him on every appereance, every interview, every magazine he's on, and you will not miss him, you will feel close to your idol, the one you voted for so much

This is definitely bittersweet. It hit me just a moment ago, I started to get sad. Guess the fall from the big rush. And the realization that Idol is over, and the constant almost daily dose is gone. It's like a withdrawal or a breakup or something.
But I'm so happy for him, and looking forward to the next phase post Idol, what he'll be up to, and I'm so thankful I got last minute tickets to an Idol tour show in August.

This is exactly what I was thinking (what IntoxicatingDC said). Since DC won, he will be all over the place have the exposure and we have to post anything we see here on the boards for all to see so won't miss him and know what is going on.

It still up to us, now it is much bigger!!

i cant wait for the tour now (this year more solo performances.. more Cookie!!!)

then the album which i would run to the store to buy...

then more touring hopefully but.....

wat do i have to look forward to every week? i think im gonna have to devote 1hr on tuesdays & wednesdays to david cook.... idk wat else to do to fill my weekly craving!
