I am definetly still on cookie high....so but i call it something different with my family. My mom was like, "U still like Cook?" and i was like, "Yeah i'm still addicted to my Cookie Pills." she asked, "What is that?" and i said, "Its pills that i take, it tastes like cookies and it helps me always love cookie." then she gave me a weird look as i laughed. hahahahaha

yes. he changed me. thinking about him or listening to him or seeing him just makes me fall back into his little trap.

It's been a month since the season ended and yet I am still on DC high. I think it might take a while before it wears off. No other Idol contestant in past seasons has had so much effect on me until David.

Has died down a bit now - not sure whether people are recovering, or it's just too boring to say the same things over and over again (for me, NOTHING has changed).

I have all the AI shows on my pc. All 42 of them. I watch them all the time and I will never get enough of it. Next season won't even compare to this one.

I've been lurking here a while but never posted before. My obsession died down a bit in August but for some reason since the end of the tour has flared back up and is as bad as it was in May. Go figure. I'm not complaining, I'm liking this.

I will never come off this high.....David has completely rocked my world and captured my heart!! I cannot get enough of him or his music!!

I haven't come down yet. In fact, bad fan that I am, I only just got hold of "Matter of Time", and I think I'm in love with "Somber". I also am just now listening to "Incoherent With Desire to Move On", and it's growing on me.

I listen to his music everyday.
I am a diehard fan.
My favorite songs are Hold, Dear Heaven, Porcelain and Music Of The Night. The latter because of his magnificent voice and range. Hold is a masterpiece as far as I am concerned, arranged beautifully. Perfection.
I listened to Analog Heart all summer over and over. Now I am more listening to Axium and discovering....
Now, I find I am falling in love with Testament. What a rockin' song! And his voice. OMG!

I agree that "Hold" is a masterpiece. I absolutely love that song. I wonder what the chances are that we'll ever get to hear any Axium (or AH) stuff live?

I listened to "Analog Heart" all summer and although I had a lot of Axium, I really didn't listen to it until recently. Hold, Leave Behind and Therapy are my current favorites. I also love "Not Around" from his high school years.

I don't have "Incoherent With Desire to Move On". Kitkat, where did you find it? I cannot get enough of his beautiful voice!

I will never come down. I have never felt this way about a Rock Star in my life. I am old enough to be his mother! I only drool a little when no one else is around. I am hooked by everything that is David Cook----beautiful man, beautiful soul and beautiful voice. I would like to think that if I only had heard his voice that I would still love his music, but I truly don't know. The whole package is so enchanting!

I'm still on a DC high. I'm currently listening to the cd my aunt made for me of all his songs from Idol for my birthday (everything up until Neil Diamond week). There's not a day when I don't hear Time of my Life on the radio on the way to school.

I wish they would put Analog Heart back on Amazon so I could get it, I make up for it by listening to songs of his on Youtube.

There was never an American Idol as versatile as he is. He's proved that by pulling off every genre of music they threw at him - country, rock, ballads, musical theatre. He was my first favorite contestant to ever win the whole thing, I'm never coming down from my DC high.

My high for Cook just grows and grows. Never thought it was possible to be so obsessed with a "rocker" My friends and family think I'm nuts (although they like him also...just not as crazed as I am). Love all his music. Just downloaded all of Analog Heart last night. I had it before on my computer, but I lost my hard drive and everything on it. Did not think I would find Analog Heart again, but I just typed it in Google and found a website where I could download each song. I am so excited to have it back. Burned it immediately to a CD. Love this man, his heart, his soul, his integrity, his intellect, and as a bonus he is SMOKIN HAWT!!!
