I think he's gonna be on the local Fox 5 news tomorrow morning (they're airing what they've taped tonight since they didn't get to DC live tonight). I'll let y'all know.

Just saw him on Leno.

OMG, he was so cute, and so funny, and so sweet! And, I had missed the Guitar Hero commercial the first time around, so that was a treat.

I wish he was getting to sing. I realize that singing slots on these shows are booked as much as 3 months in advance, but you would think a show like Leno would know when Idol was going to be over, and schedule the winner to sing accordingly.

So many of these Idol alumni have zero personality when not singing. They make terrible talk show guests and interview subjects.

David was great on Leno. I particularly liked the story about losing to his brother at Madden on the Wii.

As far as the Ellen appearance... I had her show on today and they advertised it as Tuesday. Things could always change, but I'll be tuning in on the 27th... Her show is great no matter who is on it.


He was a riot. And at least he got to change his shirt, lol. He has got to be worn out by now, but he doesn't miss a beat in these interviews. Funny, charming, articulate... he's a dream talk show guest or any kind of interview. And Jay did kind of invite him back to sing, so hopefully that will be soon!

And I just caught Entertainment Tonight... They had both DC and Archie sing from the phone book. That was too funny... but Randy was right. They can sing from the phone book, and it sounds good.

It was a really short clip, on the red carpet, I think. All Archie sang was "WaMu" (washington mutual, my mortgage company). I don't remember what DC sang, it was something about a gas station. It was just too funny that someone actually brought out a phone book.

Right now The Insider is on... they started with a little recap... and I am getting tired of David's win being referred to as a "shocker," it wasn't a shock to me... they kept promising more later in the show, but all they had to add were a couple of "reported quotes" about how what Adam is going through puts all of this in perspective.
This day has been gloriously crazy trying to find all these appearances. But worth it. Thankfully I had the day off...

OMGosh! David was *so* great on Leno!! Extremely charismatic. When he came in and laid down on the couch -- so funny! I agree that the story about playing Andrew in Madden was priceless.

And when they played the Guitar Hero clip and he said that it seemed like a really cool idea until he was standing in a room of 31 people and he wasn't wearing any pants . . . . . and he seemed to take the clip in great stride.

Loved that he said a li'l something about his WDW commercial.

He's just so great! He really looked comfortable, was personable and engaging. Good for him.

While I would have loved to hear him sing, I think it was better that he didn't. If he's only had 1 hour sleep in about the last 24, better not to sing, I think.

I loved when Leno asked David if he'd ever danced in front of the camera in his underwear before. And David said, "Not for money." LOL!!!!! He's so quick and funny!

Thanks so much for putting the Leno interview up! I tried to stay up last night to watch it, and I started to record it and fell asleep and havn't got a chance to watch it yet this morning seeing that I am at work. I guess the sleep deprivation from this week must have caught up with me! This is such a great site! Love love loving it!
