even in the finale, his coronation (i hate that word for some reason) song wasn't even a reprise.

i love that every time we saw him up there it was something new.

he is a man who NEVER ceases to amaze!!!!!! I love that....something different every single time......like he KNEW that's what we wanted or something. Ugh...amazing!

I didn't even think of that until I saw Paula say it.
She said he is the first winner on Idol to never repeat a song.
It truly shows growth and progression to not look back and repeat something you already know you can do well.
And it shows that he doesn't like to play it on the safe side.
I love that he challenged himself to always bring something new to the table.
That just rocks.

I was saying that same thing to my family. He never once repeated a performance...if that doesn't scream talent and dedication, I don't know what does.
