I so know that feeling. Everyone in the US is getting ready for tour and everything like that and, well, we are here.

Only good thing is that David's album will be released 20th November in Finland... earlier we've had to wait several months! And also "Light On" will be sent to Finnish radio stations next week.

Seriously!? Omg, haven`t heard anything about releasing anything here. I think I will try to buy it on the internet somehow. American Idol isn`t big here, so I doubt that the album will be released here.. But you guys are so lucky though!

I did some googling and it´s true, the record will be released 20th November in Finland just like you said.

And knowing that we might soon hear Light On on the radio here too...

At first I actually went to look for release date of single/album on SonyBMG's website as I knew they post lists of upcoming releases etc, but I already found the info I needed from the main site.

I can't even remember when was the last time I posted anything here,or even visited the site...Last year,maybe?

Anyway,I've met people on his tour who are 30-40,and I could say they are almost crazier than younger people XD

The tour...I have to tell you about my tour experience because,even though it's been over a month,I'm still excited and I've already told everyone else everything and they don't want to listen anymore XD Pahoittelen tekstin pituutta...

I've seen him twice so far on The Declaration tour (+once in the American Idol Experience opening in Disneyworld.It was an invitation only event,and I only got in because I was crazy enough to go there at 6 am just to see him,so... XD And being a Disney Cast member probably had something to do with it as well),in Tallahassee,which was the first stop,and in Biloxi.We didn't even have tickets to Tallahassee because it was sold out,but we decided to try our luck and went there anyway, and got in!It was so small venue that we were in 5th row,or something,with a really good view (if you count out the occasional hands and beer bottles).I was really sick,and the second David got on stage I felt fine again.Funny...He cried when singing Permanent And before the show some of us girls found a window right behind the stage,and we were able to watch a little bit of soundcheck.We saw only his back, but he has a nice backside so I'm not complaining XD

In Biloxi my seat wasn't really good,but I could still see them on stage.He sang Make Me from MWK and Straight ahead,and the woman next to me looked at me like I'm crazy when I sang along to everything even though no sound came out of my mouth.She claimed to be a huge fan of his,and didn't even own the album!He also did Hot for teacher,slipped at one point and almost fell on his butt XD The show was great,like usually,but I wish I would've had a better seat and I wish I wouldn't have been sick...Oh,and David gave everyone a Valentine's Day cards,since it was Valentine's Day

I spent almost 150 dollars on tour merchandise...My mom would kill me if she knew.

I REALLY hope he comes (or goes,since I'm not there at the moment) to Finland so you guys can see him too, because he is AMAZING live (just please not before August,thanks ).I mean,I knew that already,but to hear him sing his own songs...Priceless.They were worth skipping few days of work XD

I still have 3 (or 4,not sure yet) shows ahead.They're not part of the tour exactly,but they are shows,so... I'm almost starting to feel like stalker XD
Can't wait for May!

One more thing.I got a picture with the BAND in Disneyworld.They were just standing there,and I went to Andy and asked for a picture.They are so cool! I couldn't even write a message after that,my hands were shaking so bad XD

I've been lurking here for a while and thought that I'd come out from hiding now.

I spy age talk... I'm 28yrs and been fan since the first audition. David's voice was the thing for me. In past year I've learned that his personality is even bigger than his voice.

Seeing him live would be a dream come true. Someday that dream'll come true, sooner the better. If he won't come Finland then I just have do a bit travelling.

I saw that there wasnt any thread for the swedish fans (guess Im the only one) and you are the closest to me so HERE I am (and im actually half finnish.. though I cant speak the language.. my äiti didnt teach me it )..
So how are you?? Is David big in Finland?? Havent heard him much is sweden.. well I cant say so much as I dont listen to radio much BUT still I havent seen his album in the shops only that you can order it online !!

I had heard David's songs in finnish radio every day and I hope that people have he's CD xD And I think that David is populr in here.... I HOPE!

Hey fellow Finns and other nationalities!

What a coincidence! First time in a loooong time i'm visiting davidcookofficial, and this thread pops up.
I'm an oldie newbie here which means DC fan from the start of AI season 7 (WN#432), laying low for the past hmm.. year and a half. Well anyways I needed to register here anew because the site said i wasn't in and I know i did it in the early days. Now i'm hungry for the latest news, eg when the next album should be coming out and most importantly when David is coming to Finland... if you know something, would be nice to know it too

By the way, it was me and my friend (found each other through David) who were at the AI concert in Long Island back in 2008!
