It really struck me the night of the finally what kind of human being we are looking at when we look at David Cook.

On the night of the finale, after hearing "David A. vs. David Cook= KNOCKOUT, etc. and in all the times before this where many people would have done so NOT ONCE had David Cook capitalized on something that would most assuredly swayed some peoples voting. With one sentence he could've swayed countless peoples votes by saying "Sorry-didnt have a good night tonight-worried about my brother" or any other hundreds of ways of wording it.

Early on people only found out about Adam by accident where many other contestants would have had it "leaked" somehow to help them. Its just human nature-they wouldnt be bad people-they'd want people to know what they were struggling with so theyd understand them better but NO, not David Cook.

This guy obviously loves his brothers & family desperately and he wanted to win this on his talent and merit alone and not once did he "compromise" himself. Its amazing.

He got up there and DID HIS THING.....Put his whole heart into it and on the way captured THOUSANDS OF US who can only stand here gawking like "Why cant there be more men like this on the planet??"
