Hello all! I'm new to the boards & this discussion may have already happened, but I was wondering if/when any of you have a defining moment when you knew David was different from any one else & became a fan. I was only watching bits & pieces of audition shows & then I would watch the top 24 results show. I happened to flip the channel right as David began to sing "Billie Jean" that night & that was it for me. That is true artistry. "Always Be My Baby" also stands out to me. I could have melted right then & there. I think it would be safe to say we all think he's brilliant

To be honest, I was not a David Cook fan from the get go. But the defining moment for me came when he sang "Hello". It was amazing. From then on, I was hooked.
My favorite is "Always be my Baby" though. I was afraid when he was going to sing a Mariah song, but he was brilliant. LOVED it!

i didn't even watch AI until i was flipping through the channels and saw david singing Eleanor Rigby. that was it for me.
then when i went to youtube and saw his bon jovi audition i knew that was it. "i'm pretty versatile vocally" he was so humble and confident.
i don't even think that i'll watch another season of idol, for me it was just the "david cook show" without him it will seem pointless.
