A lot of you guys have been saying how amazing both Davids did Tuesday night. And, I agree completely. But, I have a question for you guys. I am an Arch Angel, and have been from the getgo, but Cook has really grown on me. He's an amazing guy and I'm really glad he won the competetion. Is there not a way to be an Archie and a Cookie at the same time? Am I the only one?

We have seen several today, and I think it is not only possible, but should be normal, because our Davids became so close and have such a mutual admiration society going on--we can do no less!

Honestly, if David Cook were not one of the competitors, I would have voted for Archie.. he is amazing.
I think it is whatever style of music you prefer and for me, that would be Cookie's..

I think it is totally possible to be a fan of both of them. For me I am 100% for Cook because Archie's slow/love song/stand in one place on stage stuff isn't my type. BUT I do not discount that he has an amazing voice and amazing talent. I think he did an awesome job and he is a great kid. I think if he could become a more "rounded" performer and do more than ballad singing I could become a fan as he has a really wonderful voice to listen to. I would just get really burnt out listening to a whole album of those type of songs. I say go on and support them both with all you can give, they both need fans to make it and if the past serves as any indicator it seems once people don't see them and hear from them every week on the TV their fans tend to forget about them or move on to other things. They need us now more than ever to stay behind them and support them with everything they do. As much as they love one another there really is no way I can say I don't love them both too. They are both genuinely awesome people and they have given us the gift of their music. So please stick around and share in the Cook love, we welcome you with open arms...well at least I do and I am sure most if not all others here will do the same. We have a lot of love, a lot of craziness here too but love comes first.

Well, if that's true, then I'll fit right in. My life is crazy. : P And, I agree with you about Archie. He needs to become more versitile, but I love him anyway. (But, Cook is definatly better looking. : P)

Of course you can like both at the same time. Their styles are very different from each other. To me, it is like comparing apples and oranges. I do prefer Cook's style more, but I think that Archie is uber talented and will have a great career. I love how they have become such good friends.

I think its more than possible. Quite a few people have proven it to be throughout the season. I just think if people would get past the fan wars and the pointing fingers all would be right in the David(s) fan world. As someone mentioned, they have two completely different styles and as we all known variety in music is a wonderful thing so there is plenty of room and love to go around for BOTH David's. I'm more then happy to extend my love to both! That just means more gooey cuteness from DA and more grrrr and grrrrrrrrr from Cook! ahaha it's the best of both worlds. You got a awesome and sweet "best-friend" in DA and a little danger and.. uh... heat? from DC lol

I'm not a fan of both...it's like being a fan of the easy listening station AND the classic rock station. For me, that can't be done...

I think I'm a little strange because it's hard for me to like a guy (singer, actor, whoever) with out being attracted to them in some way, like physically attracted. Sure he could be a good singer, but I need a little more than just talent...Although Archy is cute, I feel EXTREMELY creepy liking him the same way I do DC...he's 17, I'm 21...its awkward for me, not being legal and all.

I am definitely an Archie and Cook fan. I just think "Big David" is a better performer on stage and has the years of experience to back it up. Wait until Archie is 25 - he will have the same amount of stage presence. I plan on buying Archie's album when it's released. He's a sweet kid who has a lot of talent. I just prefer Cook as the all-around performer, that's all. And they have such different styles that it's easy to be a fan of both.

P.S. I was on sensory overload when they performed "hero" together Wednesday night... they sounded so GREAT together!

Oh my God. I know! I about passed out. Especially when Cook hit those high notes! I thought I had died and gone to Heaven. Oh, I wanted to go to Tulsa and see them SO bad. Dang it!



Haha. Yeah, I know what you mean. Archie's only 4 months older than me. : P Cook is hot and Archie's adorable. Only, I'm 17 and Cook plainly said he was too old for 17 year olds, so that completely knocks me out of the picture. As if that's the only thing keeping us apart. lol! I always get emotionally attached to singers and stuff. It's kinda weird, I know, but I can't help it. : )

It's totally possible to like them both at the same time, I do. I mean, I love DC a lot more and I'm a...DEEPER fan of his, but I'm also a fan of Archie's. I wanted a David/David finale for SO long because I loved them both and I knew it would be an amazing finale, and it was. They're both great talents and I'll admit right now that I'll probably buy both DC AND Archie's albums when they come out. I've been saying it all week, I couldn't have asked for a better guy to go up against DC, personality AND talent wise.

I will admit that in the 2nd week...I wasn't a fan of DC's yet (it didn't come until the next week with "Hello") and that was the week Archie sang "Imagine" for the first time and I remember telling my friend and my sister how much I really liked him, and that I thought he would be the winner, even though I LOVED Michael Johns. He definitely got to me with that performance.

I also love the friendship that they've developed over the season, it's so sweet. I just think they're both great guys and they're both so deserving of all of this.

For these last two days with all the "competition" over, I'm now seeing Archie in a different light. I've been watching his interviews and I think he's a nice, sweet kid and the "Oh gosh, golly gee" thing is adorable and genuine. I went back and looked at some earlier performances on YT, and I think they were pretty good after all. I think near the end with the pressure mounting, his performances were suffering a bit (then again, I think the pressure was getting to everyone, even DC whose voice near the end here was getting gravely with overuse.) However, the slow ballad is just not my thing, although I thought DA did a good job with "Hero" and "Apologize." Heck, I even liked "With You"! I think DA could do well with a Jonas Brothers-style "Look Me in the Eyes" kind of song, but I think he also needs to speed it up a bit and/or be a bit more contemporary.

So, I may not exactly like his style of music, but I do think he's a cute kid and I can see him starring in a Disney movie someday or touring with Miley Cyrus. There's some big $$$ for you!

I love Cookie more than Archie, but I am a HUGE fan of both of them.
Archie is my third favorite while Cookie is my first... (Michael Johns placing second. )
But yeah I love them both. I would've been happy if either of them won.

Well, I predicted that from the top 24 that the two David's would make it to the end. Even though I may not care for his style of music, I always thought Archie was so adorable! I could sit and laugh at his interviews all day long (while getting my cookie time too...lol). It makes me wonder what DA will look like 10 years from now! I bet he will be a hottie just like his big bro DC!
