He seemed to have lost quite some weight since the start of the IDOL season. As far as I can remember, he's a bit chubby. But now, as slim as he can be.

Well, chubby or not, he's definitely my cup of tea. But you can see how stressful and pressured this IDOL journey is.

I think the 19E should take a good care of him. Come on, it's their money-maker. Give him some sleep, a good bath and give him a set of new clothes! He changed the shirt but isn't there somebody taking care of his wardrobe? I know he doesn't care but you can sorta imagine how his past 30 hours have been, with his same clothes on, interviews non-stop.

Yes i also noticed that. He lost weight. But that made him more appealing and gorgeous!

He seems very tired.
You know that high feeling you get when you don't get enough sleep? That's pretty much what I see in him in the beginning of the video. I hope he gets more sleep soon.

Yeah, I definitely think that's the way he's feeling in that interview. I thought that he just looked completely wiped out as soon as he walked out. He could have easily fallen asleep on that couch, I'm sure.

I really hope he can get some rest tonight before doing more appearances tomorrow.

I am just incredibly impressed with his composure and maturity. This is no giggling, incoherent, simpering airhead, but a full-grown, cosmopolitan, intelligent and articulate man. He just continues to truly be the best and most worthy of this enormous first-ever case of hero-worship I have.

You know, maybe I really will have "David Cook for President" on my bumper in 12 years!!

He was so adorable on Jay! Even exhausted he managed to be witty and to sound intelligent. I think he's going to be the MOST SUCCESSFUL American Idol to date! I'm just sooo excited for him...not to mention that he's

Wow, David Cook really does make a great American Idol. As adorable and talented as Archie is, I just don't see him having such great interview skills. DC is just soooo incredibly laid back and funny. It just feels like if you ever met him somewhere he would just be so easy to talk to. The two parts that had me in stitches were:

"You mean you've never been on camera in your underwear before?"
"Not for money."

And

"Okay, you can have Madden and I'll just take American Idol. We'll call it even."

Seriously, he is amazing and I'm loving all this press so everyone can see how great of a guy he is since we all already know! I can't wait to see him on Ellen because people always seem to have the most fun on that show.

This guy born to be a star. he's very comfortable in interviews and very funny. He's not like the kind of peopple that only answers: 'yes and no' question.

And I love the part when he talked about a game that he and his brather andrew played

I don't know how it is possible but he just keeps impressing me.

Aww, that was awesome. I loved it.

I wasn't able to stay awake ,but I could. I recorded it and watched it this morning. It made me smile when we was talking about playing the Wii with this brother. It's funny cuz I wanted one for a long time. I would so love to play David. Haha.

So damn cute! I can't wait to watch all his interviews, my DVR will be full by next week!! And as great as he was on Leno, imagine how great he will be after he can get more than an hour snooze!

THat was a great interview. I loved when he came out and fell on the couch! I laughed so hard.
And I was speechless over the Guitar Hero commercial! I want that on my Ipod so I can watch it all the time! LOL!!!
Overall...he was so calm and collected on the show. I admire him so much!

I am absolutely amazed at how witty and charming he can be when he is as exhausted and sleep deprived as must be! He constantly amazes me. I just realized my overuse of the word "amaze" but seriously...that's what it is. Amaze, astound, impress, all of it! And I love how natural it seemed for him to be on Leno. Walking up like that, collapsing on the couch, and the ensuing interview...its as if he's done this a million times before. I love that.

The whole time I was watching the interview last night I kept saying out loud "man, he so deserved this. I don't think I will ever quit being so happy for him."
It was exciting seeing him on there. He was great.

Through the whole interview, I kept saying to myself... so cute and so real.... in the face of all this attention, he has maintained his sense of humor and composure. My favorite parts were definitely when he talked about filming the GH commercial without pants and his Wii game with his brother... Luv him!

I stayed up and recorded it. I was so excited!

Thanks so much for the download Travis I've now been able to see the interview and I think that David did great. I don't know how he manages to stay so articulate and on the ball after just one hour's sleep. He's a natural. He is not only a very talented musician and all round lovely guy but it looks like he's an interviewers dream guest too.
