I liked when Jay asked him about American Idol "Did you think the show was stupid?" (or something like that) and there was a long pause and funny laugh...what was the winner going to say? "Yeah, it's such a dumb show"

I just love love love watching his interviews. Although its pretty much the same questions that he has to answer, he always have a different way of answering them each single time. Such an eloquent speaker. An interviewer best gift!

I find this thing about him interesting.. whenever he speaks then someone from the audience shouts out something, he would immediately respond! That shows that he pays attention to everything; the host, the surrounding and all.

i've noticed that he always says i love you back. so... obviously i will be shouting "i love you david" if i'm ever in earshot

I didn't even see this thread last night.

I woke up just in time to catch most of his interview.

He was so cute, so sweet, and so funny.

I didn't get to see the Guitar Hero commercial the first time around, so that was a treat.

So many of these Idol alumni have zero personality when not singing. They make terrible talk show guests and interview subjects. Not a problem for David!


As for those of you who say you are in love with him - trust me, I know exactly how you feel.(Not for David. My heart already belongs to another artist.) But, it is indeed possible. And yes, you can still lead a sane, productive life!

I loved this interview -- I pulled it up on You Tube this morning -- what a great way to start my day! David was wonderful - charming and gracious as always. Kudos for him for doing so well on an hour of sleep (or less) -- I think I'd be dead....He must be drinking a lot of coffee.....

He's doing really well, much better than any of the others would have done.
For example, did you hear Archie on Larry King? He's a sweet kid, and talented, but so not ready for the responsibilities of the winner.

But I'd love to see him interviewed by a contemporary rock/alt musician.
All throughout the competition, I thought his behavior and performances were worthy of respect by his musician peers. (except maybe for the corny group performances they were forced to do)

Hell yeah. The highlight of the show - I actually laughed at that.

Okay, that was mean of me, especially when poor Cookie only had an hour of sleep prior to Jay Leno's interview.

what i like about Cook is that he is so gentleman, down to earth. what evidences i have lets'see:

Firstly, from the top 3 when Ryan announced he was going to final; Cook still hold Syesha tight after the result.
Secondly, from the final when he realized he won; he really shown spirit to share that moment with the rest of contestants.

In the previous AI seasons anyone saw the winner hanged out, sang the winner songs along with others. Yep, apparently Mr. Cook did it!

DC on Leno was awesome...he always handles himself with such poise and he's so down to earth and humble...not to mention smart ("intestinal fortitude") I love how smart he is! Every Jay Leno episode actually re-airs exactly a week after it aired, but after Conan.

Example.

Cook was on Leno Thursday May 22 at 11:35pm
So it'll re-air the following Thursday May 29 but after Conan so at 1:35am

In my TV market in southwest Virginia they do rerun the "Tonight Show" exactly a week later (so the DC episode will be this Thursday the 29th), but here it comes on at 3:05 a.m., so different NBC stations in different markets (cities) may air it at different times. So, as they always say, check your local listings.
