Well, there is a "chat" thread like this at another forum where I post, and it really comes in pretty handy when you feel like talking about something random that isn't necessarily worthy of creating a whole new topic. I think the thread over there has been going on for almost a year So, Ithought I'd start one here too.

I was semi-watching some show and Happy Together came on and I thought David sings it better!! hehe.

I was at my friend's apartment earlier, and her cats just had kittens last week. It was sooo adorable, the mom and dad cats were just sitting there looking at their kittens like proud parents, and I said something like, "Aww, what a happy family!" and she started singing that song, and it made me really happy. She doesn't watch Idol, so she didn't understand why I was so excited. Haha.

I just went on meez.com and made a David one. It's kinda silly, but here it is:

This is a great topic. I love random chit-chat. I think having a place where you can just "hang out" and "chat" is a great way of getting to know fellow posters.

On a completely unrelated note, I was listening to the Oldies station on my way home 1) because Oldies rock and 2) because they play the Beatles every hour on the hour. ANYWAY at 2:00 the Beatles song of choice was "Eleanor Rigby" which is one of my favorites and I got excited. But right after that they played "Happy Together" by the Turtles. I was like "YES this is AWESOME!" I had my own little David party in my car. How FUN!

I was listening to the local top 40 station earlier and this DJ, who is freakin' hilarious, was talking about how he hates American Idol and was making fun of several of the conestants... but then he went on to say that he's secretly loving it this season because of David. Made me happy.

In other news, I'm really upset because today's the last day of my spring break. Back to reality tomorrow. I am NOT looking forward to it.

On the bright side, I only have like a month of class left, which I can totally handle. I am taking a summer class, though, because apparently I'm insane.

It's my FIRST day of Spring Break. And I'm taking two summer classes, so I feel your pain.

Haha that sorta happened to me today! I was at work, listening the Jazz crap they have on the loudspeakers, and "Hello" came on, and I freaked!

Then when my parents wanted to watch a dvd, they picked this show we went to last year in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee called "Black Bear Jambooree", and one of the songs in the Broadway portion was "Make Em' Laugh"!!!! I freaked again because of DC's high school performance in "Singin' In The Rain", he sung that....

...ok, it wasn't the same coincidence as yours, but it was still freaky for me!

I love The Office. Yes, it's a show on NBC with Steve Carell. And I was so stunned from the Thursday night results show where MJ had to go home, that I forgot to watch The Office. Unreal, because I've been waiting for it to come back on since the writer's strike started!

Yeah, I know a lot of people who don't get the humor either. My mother, when she was living with me, would laugh when The Office was on - but not because she found it funny. She would laugh at ME laughing at the show, because when I laugh, I LAUGH. And, she would shake her head and wonder why I thought it was so funny.

That's okay - I don't get why she likes Murder She Wrote so much.

I brought my Mom and my niece with me to The Office Convention in Scranton this past October. There ain't no party like a Scranton party!
