I say this over and over again but just when I think I can't love him more, I'm always proven wrong. How could anyone not love him. He is as genuine and real as you can get.

So touching. DC is one real nice guy. There's a lesson for all: kindness works. Lindsey Rose's dad was really holding back tears.

"David Cook is a good guy" and he surely is. One of the many reasons why he so deserved to win. the man's got a heart of gold-and hes sharing it to everyone. God bless him.

Aww, I may joke around a lot, but there are serious stuff, and as my signature says, DC is my role-model. He's a beautiful beautiful person, and I really have this huge connection with him because he's just so human, and I apreciate that.

Remember guys, it doesn't matter if he's star and you may never know him. I respect him a lot and look up to him .

Having said that, GOTTA LOVE THE WORDNERD! <3

You know it really is the little things in life that people do which make all the difference in the world. I can't even begin to put into words what I'm sure this did for that little girl. In the midst of, no doubt the fight of her life, she is able to find joy and happiness by a simple gesture of kindness on David's part. I'm sure he can understand, anyone who's has to deal with situations like that in life know the stress and oft-times sadness that looms over everything but to have that "ray of light" so to speak and have something to be excited about. WOW it just makes all the difference in the world.

That was just beautiful. Simply beautiful. I can only hope that each of us can experience the joy of helping someone else in such a way. It has to be a great pleasure and privilege indeed.

This, to me, just validates how awesome he is and how much he deserves all of this.. he can definitely sing and he's definitely hot but his heart outshines it all. Him wearing that little girls bracelet will be something I remember when I'm old and gray.. he's amazing!

As the old saying goes, actions speak louder than words. David Cook is a very honorable, compassionate man. What better role model/American Idol can there be?

This is exactly why everyone loves David Cook so much. He's a real guy with real feelings that really cares about his family and friends and others. I hope he stays humble and real!

Yep, made me cry. David is amazing. And that reporter is so brave to be able to talk about it like that, it must be so difficult to see his daughter go through that and for her to have that distraction like he said she did must mean the world to him!

How can you not love this guy? I knew he was an amazing singer/artist from the get go and to learn what a beautiful person he is make me sooooo happy I supported/voted for him and that he is our American Idol.
