i don't know about you but for me that entire interview was filled with quotable quotes.
and sorry if telling james that i transcribe for a living rubbed you the wrong way. he was looking for someone to type out some interviews. if you scrolled up from my post you'd see that.
easy honey... don't be so quick to be so defensive
first... the "transcript of his life" was simply a rib at the entire thread and had absolutely nothing to do with you or your post directly. and yes... i read the entire thread so i know that you transcribe for a living. in fact... my comment simply backed up your comment that... indeed the entire interview was so full of quotes that we should just transcribe his life.
some advice... don't ever take anything i say seriously... i'm very tongue-in-cheek and i would hate to feel like i needed to moderate my sarcasm for those here.
second... i only quoted that post to fill in the blank

I don't think this was posted yet... and it's just epic. Makes me LOL all the time.
ROCK is not dead, it merely lies in a comatose state, frozen in some cryogenic lab. It'll actually be unfrozen in 2026, along with Rasputin's penis, and the head of Ted Williams....no, seriously.... - David, on whether rock is dead.

Calling himself a "jeans and T-shirt guy", David Cook has a practical approach to fashion.
"You buy the Hanes 3-pack of T-shirts and that's three days of not having to do laundry," he told PEOPLE.

I loved the interview on Elvis Duran when Cookie and Archie piggy backed ...
Archie jumps on David's back and David jumps on the interview's back and is talking on the phoneARCHIE: I'm sorry about that
COOKIE: Got off! Archie, my back!
Hmmm ... it sounds a lot better when you are watching the video

K, all you Cook quote experts . . . need a favor. Anyone have the exact quote from David about his hair? Goes something like: Genetically, it's not going to be here very long, so I'm just letting it enjoy the ride.
Searched all 11 pages of this thread, and I didn't see it. Sorry if I missed it. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

This incredible wittiness of David's really reminds me of the Beatles. They were always coming out with stuff like that during interviews. Maybe that's one of the reasons so many of us baby boomers are so into David.
Someone with that clever and original of a mind should be coming out with some awesome music, even better than the good stuff he's already made!!!!

I thought that openng doors was natural to him. I watched that video of him being interviewed after he had dinner with Kim at the steakhouse, and he opened the car door for her as he was talking to the reporter; it was fluid, like he didn't even have to think about it. DC is a real gentleman.
