Season 7 Record News - Already!

That was fast. Rumors are already floating around about label signings for both David Cook and David Archuleta.

According to Hits Daily Double, the J/RCA music group is already involved with promoting David Cook’s coronation single, “Time of My Life” to radio. David Archuleta will reportedly join the Jive Label. Archie won’t have a single released to radio until close to the release date of his album.

And, Jesse McCartney tells Rolling Stone that he and Ryan Tedder (One Republic) are planning to write songs for David Cook’s upcoming album. He and Tedder co-wrote Leona Lewis’s smash hit, “Bleeding Love”.

Bonus: A very sleep deprived David Cook performs a lovely “The World I Know” for Access Hollywood yesterday.

I have a feeling stuff was in the works before Wednesday night. With these two it didn't matter who won, they both are going places.

I hope this speeds up the album release I'm not sure I can wait until November like in the past.

Well, I remember that Pickler's date got moved up 2 weeks and was released ahead of everyone else's but season 5 was really unusual. Season 6 went back to the normal pattern. Jordin's album was released on November 20th and Blake's on December 4th (it was pushed back by 1 week).

I know exactly what you mean! I'm anxious too. Thanksgiving is too long! LOL
