I enjoyed that very much the beginning was really really cute and I'll agree with their comments on Archie as well and I must say that mid-drift flash I'll say it like she did was "happy trials' for us Cook Fans!

Thank you for this, it made me giggle (a lot.) The veal comment, then the happy trail comment. I totally agree with them though that Archie needs more time, that is what I have said for weeks now. The kid has an amazing talent and a beautiful voice but he needs time to grow. I think if he had been the american idol the population of people would have been over the top for him. I think it would have scared him to death. I too noticed Tuesday night though he performed fantastically, he seemed scared to death, almost as if he was secretly hoping in the back of his mind that he wouldn't win. He would have been so overwhelmed, at least this way he gets some press but not too much for him to handle and he can work on an album a little more out of the lime light. I bet in a few years, after he has time to grow and maybe get away from his father (who seems to me to be very controlling of him) he will be amazing (what he has now is amazing but ya know what I am trying to say here--I hope anyway.)

I so totally agree with the comments about Simon. I felt like all Season long the judges got it wrong. I feel their hesitation in praising other contestants while they've been throwing David A praises even if the performance for the week wasnt that good.....

I think that they werent able to see or realize that David Cook has gained massive number of fans... For us fans, it wasnt hard to imagine the 12% margin of votes but for the media, the judges (maybe) and other sources are still questioning "WHY ARCHULETA DIDNT WIN"-----I found it irritating to see Cook answer a question similar to this everytime he is interviewed....It's like questioning the validity of his win.... I blame the Idol Season and Judges for putting too much spotlight on Archie----I felt like they became unfair with other contestants as well when it comes to judging or even camera time.

I hope Cook gets some sleep... He looks super tired in his interviews

oh, that was CLASSIC!!!!!!!!!

Well their DVR didn't go out, but the show ran over and the announcemet of the last name took place just after the 2 hour end time of the show. So yeah anyone who was recording it didn't get the actual announcement or to see the the last song performed. I would have died if I got all the way to the point where he says and the winner by 12 million votes of American Idol 2008 is David (long pause)......and then poof the machine shuts off...would you just jump out the window out of anger or what? I would have flown through my roof. Thank god for instant gratification here you wouldn't have lost totally but missed it none the less.

DVRs definitely went out -- just as Ry Guy said "DAVID...." (cut).

Wednesday nite, my email blew up with friends who knew I'd be glued to the live show, desperately pleading with me to tell them what happened. I basically transcribed the last 6-8 minutes, word-for-word, action-by-action, tear-by-tear, and sent it out to about 30 of my friends who were left hanging by TiVo/DVRs.

The funniest email I got had a SL of "OOOOOOOOOOHHHHHHH HEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEELLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO." Contents said, "F***IN' DVR cut off just as Ryan said 'David.' Which one?! TELL ME. NOW."

lol. Sucks to be them. Later that night, I directed them all to Travis's media section, which saved the day for everyone.
