I love his album called Analog Heart...It's an Indie Album. It's much better than AXIUM, his old band.

Analog Heart is AMAZING
Probably my favorite album of all time.

I can listen to it all day and not get tired of it.

Analog Heart is......hands down one of the greatest albums I have ever heard.

Analog Heart is complete brilliance...I like a lot of Axium's stuff too though.

Analog Heart is absolutely brilliant and amazing and incredible...ANY synonyms close to that you can think of. I could rave about it all day long. It's one of the best albums I've ever heard. I wish we could all tell him how much we love it because we know from his old blogs that he worked really hard on it and that he wanted people to like it, and now he has HUNDREDS, if not THOUSANDS of people who just love it. I play it almost every day, I can't get enough. That's the reason I have no doubt in my mind that his new album will be spectacular.

Analog Heart really is an amazing album. He's such a talented songwriter. I actually love every song on the album (which I never do normally!). I haven't heard much of the Axium stuff, but I really like 'Incarcerate' and 'Pecking Order' and their live cover of Creep is brilliant!

How can I download/buy Analog Heart! Help Me!

it's a great album. very impressive, and not just because it was a solo effort. i listen to at least one song from the album every day since purchasing it at amazon about a week before it was pulled. i hope it's available again soon so more people can enjoy it.

Analog Heart his solo album, The Story Thus Far by Axium and Blindsided by Axium are beyond words. I've been trying to come up with one word that describes them and I think I found it - INTOXICATING.

There is also a live album Alive in Tulsa which I haven't been able to find plus he had a follow up solo album to Analog Heart almost completed. He has hinted that some of this may end up on his post idol cd.

My cousin's a big fan of Cookie, and she said she didnt really like Analog Heart...i havent listened to it yet though.

ANALOG HEART has been added as one of my top 10 CDs I would want with me if I were stranded on a desert island. It's been three months since I first downloaded it on Amazon, and I'm STILL listening to it. It's the perfect combination of pop and alternative rock. The lyrics are amazing and totally relatable as a listener -- you feel the emotions of the song whether it's the heavier "Let Go" or the softer "The Truth."

I honestly can't even remember what I was listening to before finding him!

I absolutely love Analog Heart, I have the entire album on my mp3 player and usually it's what I listen to all day at work. It's one of those albums that there is not a single song on there that I don't like, and it never gets old listening to them. I have also burned it to a cd and it stays in the cd player in my car.

I have listened to all of Analog Heart and I totally love it! I have since burned it onto a CD (I will buy it if and when it becomes available again) and I love listening to it. If we get something like this I am going to be so enthralled over it, but I am sure it will be better than anything we have heard as yet. I hope DC will be the one to help turn this music industry around a bit...then maybe after MY Idol appearance next year, I can help complete the turn! LOL Just kidding. But actually yes, I think I'm going to audition for next season. Wow, even saying that makes me nervous.

Analog Heart is an awesome album...you can tell how personal it was to him. I also loved the stuff by Axium. It rocks! And my fave is "Thought You Knew". I could blare it all day.

I have a downloaded version of Analog Heart. It is so great I can't stop listening to it!! I just heard David will be working on his album over the summer Its expected to be released in the fall yipeeeeeee!!!!!!

I love Analog Heart but I adore Axium too. Of course the fact that as a Gen Xer I grew up with Grunge and Post Grunge helps

Does anone know where one may purchase copies of "Matter Of Time" or "Alive in Tulsa" by Axium? I have all the others (including AH, which is incredible!)but can't find downloads from the others....

I purchased Analog Heart along with the Axium Cd's. I am extremly impressed with Analog Heart. I just love that CD....especially "Don't say A word" what a great melody. Its just another instance of someone being such a great undiscovered talent. When I heard that cd I was very surprised that not one record producer snapped him up??? I suppose this happens all the time. This will be the FIRST time I have ever purchased any cd's from the American Idols..not that they weren't good....but none of them impressed me as being UNIQUE. But David Cook does.....he makes me feel "giddY' like a dumb struck school girl....thats ok my mom is in love with him too.!

His so called lead guitarist in axium sounds more like a lead rhythm player. He should consult Tony MacAlpine fo some serious guitar lessons. I think David should give up the guitar and keep playing the Bass like he did in the Midwest Kings. He looks more comfortable doing that instead.

Buffee - where did you purchase Analog Heart? I am looking to order it and I thought if was not available, that AI make David take it down. Can anyone burn me a copy? I will pay all costs, of course. I just love David's music and I heard some sample songs, and I loved it!

I purchased analog heart off of ebay and the AXIUM CD'd are available on WALMART.COM. You can download them each for 9.88

Okay....I've been listening to his pre-idol stuff on the internet. At least three of the songs have already made me cry. I'm confused though...I know Analog Heart is his solo album and Axium was a band he was in...is there also an album called Axium. I see songs from Axium on the net as well. How many pre-idol albums does he have?

You know, if AI doesn't want him to profit from his pre-idol stuff (they do keep a short leash)...how about giving the profits to the American Cancer Society or another worthwhile charity.

Ew, ew, ew. you said the dreaded L word. Limewire is evil. 90% of anything uploaded through limewire either contains Smitfraud or soon has it added or uploaded along with the original file. Any of you using limewire should either
A) download, install, and run SmitFraudFix.exe
2) delete, purge, uninstall, and clean every corner of your registry and computer of this dreaded Peer 2 Peer
C) find a good torrent P2P like Ares, Azureus, or Utorrent... they're easy to use, you get your downloads faster, and you can preview what you download to ensure it doesn't contain unwanted material.

And to keep with the thread topic, i heard (and owned) Axium's Blindsided before Mr. Cook was ever on American Idol. Analog Heart is just as equal as the previous albums he's had. I think all 5 (6?) albums rock.
