If you are reading my reply on the above, I think i've misunderstood your message. Hahaha...sorry. I was so freaking eager to get going on the Philly thing.......i was just reading between the lines.

You were actually talking about efforts in bringing David to Msia. Actually, I've tried posting thread on the main forum but like someone mentioned above, Msians can be very "tidak apa". That kind of attitude just sucks.
So, anyway......I'm planning to send something to the 19Entertainement address attention to David Cook. I am not sure this will work but what choice do we have? Unless someone going to meet him at one of those AI shows can help us pass out letters.

Back to my plan, I am writing a letter to David, telling him how amazing he is. Then went on and talk about how great is Malaysia and the fans here. I told him some big names had concerts here in the past. Apart from the letter, I will also be putting in maps of Malaysia, Msian postcards and some quotes I obtained from Lonely Planet on Msia. Will be making it like a scrapbook. Since now I can see so many Msian fans here, maybe I should get all of you to sign on a few pages and then I'll compile it to the entire book. So, in order for me to be sending the pages around for signatures, I need help. Who's in? Can PM me your home address and I can start working things out.

Apart from that, I've already submitted a letter to Fly FM (just go to the website). I told them I really want DC to come to Malaysia and said that we need a strong media backing. Fly FM is a very generous radio station. They called me once for a contest (although I didn't win) and told me they were awwwwwed about my support for David Cook and his Conquering Cancer quest. So, PEEPS....GO TO THE WEBSITE AND BOMBARD THEM WITH LETTERS AND REQUEST FOR ANYTHING DAVID COOK. We need a strong media background. Plus, they have a few female Djs who are very "fangirly" for David Cook.

This is a brilliant idea, and yes darling, I meant you *remembers to spell your name right from now on* Definitely better if we travel in a group, and it'll be a lot easier to meet up with our Pinoy counterparts.

Anyway Phui San, we don't have details yet unfortunately, and Vera told me that prolly during their holidays, so I reckon around Nov/Dec if his concert is in Jan. Going by David's recent interviews, his management will probably set the date in ink once the album is in post-production, ergo giving them a clear timeline and a clean schedule. Better to be sure than to set a date, then if merlin forbid something goes awry, they change the date, leaving us all in a knot.. So yeah.

And we Asians are enthusiastic about everything haha... It will be madness.

I'll be making a scrapbook with a letter addressed to David, and alot of Malaysian related stuff, plus pictures and Msian postcards. I was planning to insert another letter/message with Msian fans signatures (as many as I can obtain) but I am still thinking of the best way to do it. Posting addresses to addresses? Okay, I guess at this point, what I really need is for people interested to PM me their personal email address to me. It would be easier for me to keep everyone in the same email loop on all updates.

Okay, I spoke to Kathleen as well and we've started the "attack". This needs to be as systematic as possible, so this is what we're doing:

1. Go to www.flyfm.com.my and select Pagi Show as well as Must Have Music
2. At the Pagi Show page, click on the Show Stopper link and a form will pop up. The form will be visible straight away in the Must Have Music page.
3. Request for 'The Truth' for Fly FM Pagi Show Stopper.
4. Request for 'IDWMAT', 'The Truth', and THH's 'Reasons' for Must Have Music.

It's important we stick to these songs first. If you notice, I'm avoiding Time Of My Life because the song is already getting airplay and as much as it's the winner's song, it doesn't truly reflect his persona or musical direction.

We'll be sending the same requests daily until someone gets a call and the songs are played. Then we change it up.

I need you and Kathleen to alert me once the song is successfully played, so we can change the request list. But we'll keep this up for as long as it takes to get people talking and listening.

Please spread the news to the .org ppl asap and get those requests out!

Before the song was played, they picked up a call. The caller said she is using a fake name....Carly S because Carly is David Cook's female buddy on American Idol. The caller requested for Light On and she dedicated to all word nerds out there. I WAS SCREAMING IN MY CAR! I think the caller is from the Word Nerd Home. If the caller happens to bump into this thread.....congrats for getting on Fly. I've been on Fly FM too but at that time, I requested for TOML. Feels good to be on air and to talk about David Cook.

We must try to request for DC's Light on on Fly FM web. Can be done through the various shows like Pagi Show, Must Have Music and Rush Hour. The day's requests are compiled and will make up the Top 10 most requested songs at 7PM daily (weekdays). Glad that Crush is doing strong on the Chart (credits to Archie) but I'm a FANATIC Cookie.
