Sunburst is the first outdoor festival in Malaysia, uhm...John Legend played at Sunburst this year. but yeah, i somehow think Sunburst is not a good idea, mainly because the venue will be insanely huge that, there's no sense of closeness with DC and plus, it's so hard to get yourself up front, too many people there

i know right?! she is so lucky but it's cool for me because that band is one of my favorites too, so i kinda got the chance to talk to them once in a while.

girl, i am in dire need to move to the states, preferably NY because i'm interested in working for this indie record label there, i am just hoping that i'll get to save enough money and pay off my student loans and move there as soon as i could *prays, crosses fingers and toes* hehe

Hi to all Malaysian DC fans. It's nice to know I am not the only one that is totally crazy for David Cook in Malaysia. I got totally hooked on DC when he sang "Hello" to me with his eyes and the rest is history. I have been tracking his weekly performance on AI and rooted for him to win. I just love his gritty voice, with his good looks especially that crooked smile and to top it off he is an intelligent person who is so eloquent. And I never screamed so loud when his name was announced as the winner. Now, I am so glad to be able to be on this journey with him through this wonderful forum and so looking forward to his CD release.
I don't know if there are any 37 year-old mother of 2 kids in Malaysia who is having a big crush like me (I hope I am not the only one), as my pseudonym implies, I felt "saved" by DC cos he has saved me from my daily routines and realities of life and I have never felt so alive!

no, we can't do that anymore because now, if you owe a bank or you haven't pay off your loan that is more than RM30,000, you are considered bankrupt and aren't able to migrate. so yeah, plus with the damn ptptn high interest, i'm not sure how long it'll take me to pay off my loans....ugh! i hate them!

oh yeah London is a great place to move, although the weather's kinda sucky though and living expenses, uhh yeah, you know what i mean.

Hi there! I'm so glad to hear that I'm not the only one above 30 who's totally crazy about DC. My husband even thinks my behavior is borderline obsessive :-). From the moment I saw his audition I was hooked. Everyone around me was sure that Archie would win the title so you would have imagined how ecstatic I was when DC won. The only thing holding me back from screaming at the top of my lungs was because I was in the office.

I truly enjoyed Analog Heart and I'm sure his next album would just surpass our expectations (unless 19 and RCA have different ideas).

I am hiding this crazy DC obsession of mine from my husband at the moment cos he will probably think I have gone psycho. Seriously, I can't get him out of my mind everyday. yup, my mom is REALLY young at heart (same goes to my dad), you have no idea, she's more like my best friend than my mom which is great because i don't have to keep any secrets from her.

oh yeah, i saw that performance and like you i was so blown away, he gave me a peace of mind and chills all at the same time. i even shed a tear when i saw that performance, i guess, mainly because i was proud of him more than anything. to see him getting the recognition he deserve, warms my icy cold heart. i am too blessed with this thing they call the Internet, not only i get to keep updated on DC, it also brought me closer to other DC fans. even though i am content with keeping updated on his journey and seeing his performances online, i REALLY can't wait for the day, he would come down and have a concert here. oh am patiently waiting...ugh!

I have officially gone addicted to this site. The day would not be right and I would get agitated and restless (withdrawal symptoms!?) if I do not check out this site. I remember specifically this morning a quote that DC always say is that there is a ying and yang to everything and that is how he pretty much sees everthing. With that perspective, I am taking this addiction in good stride if you get what I mean.
Your connection with your parents is admirable and I aspire to achieve that with my growing children. I would say you have a good head on your shoulders too cos it always takes both ways for open communication and good relationship.
I get very moved too when I watch DC perform cos there are all these captivating elements about him - soulful eyes, sexy smile, raw edgy voice, awesome stage presence with that mike and guitar, need I say more? I am so glad to have fans on the same page with me on this side of the world!

it is insanely hard to tear yourself away from this site or even from DC for that matter but then again for me, with my work and everything it became easier. not for long though since i've quit my job last week. anyways, it's ok to be addicted to this site, i have been addicted to many messageboards in the past, it's just fun to be able to talk to fellow fans and to keep up to date with the man hehe

thank you for saying such things. even though i do have a great relationship with my parents, some of my friends see it as me being too dependable or whatever to my parents. i didn't know having a good relationship with them made me seem incompetent but eh, to each his own ain't that right? i am pretty sure you'll achieve great communication with your kids, you seem pretty cool for a mom and i think it's easy for your kids to relate to you, one of the reason why i could relate to my parents so well.

i have to agree with what you said about DC, he's just too perfect. he knows how to pull people in when he performs and he knows how to make people feel what he feels when he performs or even sing on a record. my friends who i know wouldn't be into DC have fallen head over heels over this guy. they just say that he has this unexplained magnetism about him when he performs or when he's being interviewed and also him being really attractive helped them to fall for him as a person and a musician (i know, them mentioning about his great looks made them sound so shallow but they do like his voice first then the looks second, his looks are pretty much extra). i am so glad he has such magnetism because now, i could talk about him endlessly with my friends, hehe.
