Well, i agree with what u said about having no sense of closeness if the event is too huge. but i really dont mind as long as i can see him perform live! ;)
i'm sure one day u'll be able to go to NYC. u seems to know what u want. can't u go there to earn USD and then pay up your loans here? hmm. actually for me, i prefer to go london, cuz i think it's better for my career progression. but then again, haha...as of to date i have no intention yet to leave this country (except for the times when i think of DC or when i think of the hike in petrol price T____T ).
if i were to go to the states..... just like u, i'll choose NYC... manhattan to be exact! i'm a huge fan of sex and the city and that's why i'm so facinated by manhattan. hehe. then again, i might also visit bluesprings-missouri and tulsa, the place DC grew up and worked prior to his AI stardom =]
yeah true about seeing him live regardless
but to me, it's better if he performs in a smaller venues like Stadium Negara at least (psst hey David, i gave a hint

)
yeah i hope i get to go, i mean there's a whole lot of things i need to get done and/or approve before leaving and yeah am not sure if i would have enough cash by the time i wanna migrate because i'm leaving my job by the end of this month (can't stand the people in there! ugh!) and idk how long i'll be jobless, so yeah.
no, we can't do that anymore because now, if you owe a bank or you haven't pay off your loan that is more than RM30,000, you are considered bankrupt and aren't able to migrate. so yeah, plus with the damn ptptn high interest, i'm not sure how long it'll take me to pay off my loans....ugh! i hate them!
oh yeah London is a great place to move, although the weather's kinda sucky though and living expenses, uhh yeah, you know what i mean.
ooh Manhattan! i love that part of NY but i don't think i'll ever live there, everything's too expensive, koyak poket!

speaking of S&C, have you watched it? i wanna watch it so badly but don't think i should watch it at the theaters since there's gonna be a hell of a lot of cuts! so yeah, we're so gonna be watching a very chopped up movie then.
i would love to go to Tulsa one day but Blue Springs, i'm not so sure

i'm more of a big city girl, if you haven't noticed hehe
QUOTE (Saved By DC @ Jun 12 2008, 07:58 PM)

Hi to all Malaysian DC fans. It's nice to know I am not the only one that is totally crazy for David Cook in Malaysia. I got totally hooked on DC when he sang "Hello" to me with his eyes and the rest is history. I have been tracking his weekly performance on AI and rooted for him to win. I just love his gritty voice, with his good looks especially that crooked smile and to top it off he is an intelligent person who is so eloquent. And I never screamed so loud when his name was announced as the winner. Now, I am so glad to be able to be on this journey with him through this wonderful forum and so looking forward to his CD release.
I don't know if there are any 37 year-old mother of 2 kids in Malaysia who is having a big crush like me (I hope I am not the only one), as my pseudonym implies, I felt "saved" by DC cos he has saved me from my daily routines and realities of life and I have never felt so alive!
hey there, welcome to our humble abode!
i'm Shereen, you are?
i LOVE DC's performance of Hello because from there you could see his talent and everything in between, he was so emotionally connected when he performed that song but after knowing why he was, it kinda breaks my heart to watch that performance now...
i can't wait for his new album too! i hope it'll be great or even better than Analog Heart!
well, you might be 37 with 2 kids, my mom's 54 with 2 kids and she LOVES (she have a huge crush on DC too!) DC since the beginning, she even told me straight that DC's going to win this year when she saw his auditions (my mom was right all along)
you know, i think to most of us on here, we feel that he saves us from our reality (i know he did with me). and any time i was having a bad day, i could just listen to his voice and everything will be better. he just have a way with pretty much everything, it's pretty inhumane tbh lol
