Anyways, my name is Tina. I am 24 years old and I live in Omaha, Nebraska. The city that David auditioned in! Proud fan! And you know what the BEST part is? I work at the arena that he first auditioned at. NO KIDDING!! (www.qwestcenter.com) I remember having to wake up at 4am so that I could be to work at 6am. I worked the day that the ORIGINAL auditions went on. I don't know if many people know, but you have to go through at least 3-4 rounds before you actually meet the 3 judges. That day they had about 5 little booths with tables in it and they had 4 or 5 people per section auditioning. And if they liked you, they gave you the ticket and then you went to the booth to get a schedule when your suppose to come back. But we weren't allowed to tell ANYONE who made it and didn't make it. It was that secretive. But I swear up and down that I saw David's bro. And I am quite sure that I saw David too. He looked SO familiar when he walked around so I was like, "OH! I KNOW HIM", when actually I really didn't. lol But when the auditions were on tv I was like "I KNOW HIM!! I SAW HIM AT WORK!!" lol Good times! Remember Goth girl? I saw her when she first came in, and I was like
okay?!? haha. But that day was interesting. I was there from 6am til around 7pm. And imagine an arena FILLED with singers out in the hallways belting out like Christina Aguilera. I swear everyone wanted to be the next Xtina (not that there is anything wrong with that). But let's just say, if I heard another person sing after work, I would have gone nuts! I was all "sung" out! LOL!Well, I think I have blabbed enough. Haha! But yeah! I am SOOOO happy he one. I was like "No one from Omaha is going to make it." They said when I was at the arena that only 7 people made it. I was like "Oh great. Why don't they just skip our little cow town and go to like Chicago or something" But little did I know, we got an American Idol out of our town. EEE! I know hes from Kansas City area, but still, the whole thing about it is that he auditioned IN Omaha! AHHH! I wonder if AI will give us a bonus for having the winner audition in Omaha? lol *knocks on Cookies door* HAHAHAH!! Just kiddin! Well, I better shut up now before its like a 5 page novel!
