I have been logged onto this sight pretty much 24/7 since last Tuesday. I was feeling very down after the judges stomped on Cookie. So I set out to vote all 4 hours. My husband and I logged onto the sight and when I saw all the support for each other, and the updates with info, and all the encouragement, I was so relieved! I read each comment as I feverishly redialed my vote 864 times (yes I kept track)!

I'm 32 from Sacramento. Mother of 3 little boys (all of them want to grow up to be just like David Cook)! I have had serious health issues all season. Seeing David each week literally got me through some rough times. I most likely will never meet him in person (I am going to the Idol Tour Concert in Sacramento on July 9!!!!!!!!!) but I wish I could let him know what an inspiration he has been to me. It's really easy to get down and feel discouraged, but all I have to do is see his smile, or hear his laugh and I'm instantly happier! I know I'm only one of millions who feel this way. He has such an amazing talent not only with his incredible voice, but with his charming and charismatic personality as well. People connect with him. He is so genuine and honest and truly cares for others. Each of these things combine together to make a force to be reckoned with!

I'm not very technically inclined, but I just became a member yesterday. Hopefully I can figure everything out and start chatting with you my fellow cookies! I also love lighthouses, and David has been a kind of beacon to me so I decided CookieBeacon would be my user name.

Welcome to the world of all things Cook...where David is the Idol and King!! It amazes me every day how many people out there feel the way they do about this guy! He has no idea how amazing he is and how much he's touched his fans around the world. There is just something about him that we all can love and connect to and I am glad that a guy like him has not only won Idol but will go on to continue to touch people through his music and someone that we can be proud of!
