hello everyone! these introductions are a little awkward for me, so i'll just start talking. okay, i'm a cookie fan from a small town in north carolina. i'm a college student at unc-greensboro and majoring in english. this is my eighth year as an "idol" viewer, and the third time that my favorite has won the competition (previously kelly, carrie and of course, david!) i love david because not only is he an amazing musician, who is innovative in his song writing and musical arrangements -- he's an amazing person who remains caring, passionate and humble no matter what comes his way!

oh, really? that's awesome! wilmington? i've never been there, but i've always wanted to go. i'm from hickory, it's small -- about an hour east of charlotte.

Yep. I've lived here all my life. This is truly home. I'm familiar with Hickory. My sister and brother-in-law live in Charlotte. They are in the process of selling their home. He works in East Tennessee a lot so he's gone for most of the week and so he wants to be a little closer to his job. They are planning to move to Salisbury.

Wilmington isn't as small as it used to be at all. It has grown by leaps and bounds and we have lots of traffic because of I-40. LOL

oh, for sure, that's definately understandable. tennessee is a while from here so i can see where the drive would get tedious, fast. i've heard that it's grown a lot as well. I-40 is great sometimes, but it also causes a lot of problems. i kind of have a love-hate relationship with roads and driving in general. lol. C:
