Bahaha I saw this when it was on. I'm a fan of The Soup anyway, so I was watching it like normal and I thought it was hilarious, especially when Joel talks about Krisit winning DWTS and not caring because she didn't mention him LOL.

what did he say about the girl from omaha? the audio's quite blurred during david and ryan's scene.

its a saying that is "said" when they cut to a segment about....well, "chicks"-or girls =)...its just funny how the show says it....

but this clip was hiarious! DC must've known that Joel + Ryan= funny feuds ...

That was one hilarious clip! With a hilarious show like The Soup, E!TV Asia should consider adding it to its programme list.

Gotta love the way Joel McHale highlighted about how TiVo cut Idol off, just as Ryan was about to announce Cookie's last name as the American Idol. And also, Joel's so-called advice to Archie, "Look on the bright side buddy, at least your dad won't speak to you again". Roffles~!!

I always have LOVED the Soup (Joel McHale is great), but this was just brilliant! Two of my favorite shows combined!

It's also funny, since on the Soup they kept counting down to when Archuleta would become the most adorable American Idol ever. Haha they were wrong!

Makes me glad that 1) I live on the west coast and I already knew and 2) I don't have TIVO. I would have certainly thrown a chair at my TV.

i basically worship the soup anyway so when i saw this whole segment i thought i was going to die laughing!

Avid Soup fan here. I had posted a thread about it earlier because i was ROTFLMAO.
For those who don't know, the show has several running gags. One was a clip of Seacrest saying "chicks, man" whenever they're about to introduce a segment about girls. Apparently DC watches the soup (or at least knows about the clip)...brilliant way to get on the show!
And the Tivo bit...priceless. Didn't happen to me b/c my DVR had gone live by then, but so many people 'round here were complaining about that that we were dying laughing.

I did T'vo it and it did cut off. I was screaming. It went:

and my channel switched. By the time I got it fixed they were hugging each other and I didnt know who won. Then the phone started ringing and i was yelling into the phone "don't tell me who won my t'vo cut off" and would slam the phone down. My daughter had friends over and they thought I was having a heart attack.

That was hillarious! I love Joel McHale.

I think i rewound and watched that clip about 20 times this weekend.
Something about a relaxed backstage Cookie that gets me every time.

We watch the soup every week, I loved that this was on there, I also choked on my pepsi during the Captian Kangaroo part. Way too funny!
