I love it when he smiles. The crooked smile is very sexy and his big smile just lights up his whole face.

I agree that both are great. Those "Cheshire Cat" smiles are quite hot. However, I'm more partial to the serious, smoldering looks. I do love his laugh though.

There is no clear-cut answer here. The man has a dynamic, infectious personality. And all sides of him are pretty intriguing.

• Half-grin ('smirking') David is super. It conveys a confidence and sweetness that is irresistible.
• Full-on smiling David (like when he's laughing) is pretty close to perfection, because he really feels that exuberance throughout his entire body. Ever notice how his eyes sparkle (with mischief or joy or both?) when he's laughing?
• Serious, sensitive David . . . . like when he's listening intently to a question or pondering the exact appropriate answer . . . . is captivating. There is a depth to his grounded presence that is quite charming.
• Sensitive, emotional David . . . . . like when he tears up -- well, who doesn't love a man who's in touch with his emotions?
• Smoldering, CFM David that he gives us while performing like in HLTW and at the end of ABMB . . . . well, that's . . . . um . . . . . yeah. hot.

The camera surely loves him, no matter which David is on display. And thank goodness for the multi-faceted sides of David -- keeps us all on our toes.

I have to say, a great smile is one of the main physical characteristics that really draws me to a man. Hence, my love for David. However, the other physical characteristic that captures my adoration and attention is amazing eyes. David, Lord help me, has both. This is why I can't definitively answer this question. When he smiles, I melt. But when he's not smiling and I look at his eyes, I'm done. So really, either one is fantastic
