Hey, a new country that I haven't seen on here before!! Any of you speak Africaans? I'm learning Dutch right now because I'm living in The Netherlands and I have heard that Africaans if very similar and is called "kitchen Dutch". My favorite book ever is called "The Covenant" by James Michener and it's a historical fiction novel about the settlement of South Africa. It starts with the Hottentots way back when and goes through the Dutch settlement, then apartheid. I've always wanted to visit and I have some friends there. Sounds like a beautiful place.

i am probably the biggest Cookie fan out there - SA or otherwise. Have compiled a Cook VCR tape of all his appearances since Day Tripper (including Results night .... really nerdy I know). Also downloaded all the performance songs I could get, got a friend from USA to purchase tunes available on Itunes. His music is the only thing I listen to now (and I have over 3500 songs on my Ipod). Really stalkerchick behaviour, BUT I CAN'T HELP IT!!! So would love to chat to others who share my addiction/obsession ......

I so understand you're obsession - I got all his perforamnces on VCR aswell - yes even the result shows too!
And downloaded about every song he has ever recorded!!

Ok, Im still missing Hello and Eleanor Rigby (VCR and mp3) - any chance you can help me out????

Hi. I'm also a South African DC fan. Just to let you know if you are interested in the new album that selected Musica stores will get it in in the first two weeks of Dec. You can e-mail them through their website and they will then contact you via e-mail. They told me exactly how many copies each store in my region will get in so I was able to reserve one already! It will sell for R159. Amazon and all the other stores on DC Official doesn't deliver to SA.

Do you have their website. I'm form southern africa but will definetley be travelling to SA over Christmas and there's no way I'm coming back without the album

Musica now has David Cook in stock. They phoned me yesterday to collect. I'm from a small city and it seems we only got about 30 copies for the whole city If you can I suggest that you order it on the website and get them to post it to the South African address where you will spend Christmas. I had no luck at any other store in SA, so you don't want to take any chances. Let me know if I can do anything to help.
