I hate to say it, but against a fan base like that, does DC have a chance? Yes they're younger, but they can still vote as well as the rest of us.

First of all, I am glad that David A. has his own fan site and I am also glad that you are a die hard David A. fan, HOWEVER, I find it a bit offensive for you to come to DAVID COOK's FAN SITE and ask us to visit a site that BASHES him. That is not what we are about.. we are a fan site to support DAVID COOK, but not at the expense of bashing other contestants.. we recognize that there are other fan sites out there and while we do not support David A. we find NO REASON TO BASH HIM ON THIS SITE! and most of us would probably not go to a site that BASHES DAVID COOK.. if you can't tell by all of the pics on this site, WE LOVE DAVID COOK!!


Secondly, Thanks for the invitation, but I am pretty sure you won't find many DIE HARD DAVID COOK FANS on David A.'s fan site.. sorry....

I posted on that board just to say how amazed I was at their massive fan base. You just gotta be nice.

Damn, had to check it out myself. Most posts just comment on how "cute" David A. is. We've got a really good fan base here and I know that if David C's girlfriend showed her face we wouldn't all kill each other and stop voting.

That's why I don't go to that site anymore...It really makes me sad to see them bashing other contestants so badly. I don't care if it's my least fav. contestant that's being bashed, it's still not nice. I still like Archie though...he's really talented...Cookie's still my fav. though.

Wow that's crazy! Well you know we are promoting Archie here too. I've contacted the moderators about it, but if you click on Cookie's pictures above for the last show, they take you to Archie's fan site. I can see now why, since the two sites are identical. I'm a web designer, so whoever the webmaster is creates both sites and got the links wrong.
They have so many posts there and I had to laugh at the childishness of "David Cook is a big fat jerk!". I did look though and they only have about 500 more registered members than us, which is a great sign for us, since Cookie's fanbase would mostly be people that wouldn't even bother registering on a site, much less posting a thousand times. The fact that he has almost as many registered members on his fan site is proof that he could really win it all.

Maybe he can win but David Cook is better, Archie is good but is not one of my favorites.

@ MissArchuleta.... why the heck.. would you have the nerve.. to come to the DC boards... and tell us to join a site that bashes David Cook?! tsk tsk.

I'm trying to think of possible reasons as to why you would do this. But, nothing comes to mind.

All i can say is...why do they need to pimp their message board here? I'm willing to give this person the benefit of the doubt, but I mean:

1. they have a massive fan base as it is.
2. they frickin' bash Cook on there.

I find it a bit silly really. I can just bet how well one of us doing the same thing to them, would go over.

And as for all the Archie fans. I have nothing against them. If Archie wins...if Cook wins. I stand by my prediction that Cookie will be a huge force in the music business.

actually we never bashed him but ever since we found out that there are lots of DC fans bashing him in other sites, some are mad, well that website rocks! and why is it weird to promote another site? I mean this is the promotion forum.

Actually this is a promotion topic. The forum is for David C. All are welcome here and many choose to stay and even vote for David C. in the upcoming weeks. The Archie site is great and if you've noticed the similarities well, it's my guess u can thank Travis for that.

Wow. I beg to differ. I HAVE seen numerous threads bashing Cook on there causing them to be closed. I'm not trying to start anything whatsoever, but I don't like false information being spread. Over here, we try not to bash anybody. Look around and you'll see it's a very friendly and mature atmosphere. You say other sites bash Archuleta.. well I rarely see that here. We have a lot of respect for all the contestants. You can go right on ahead and promote the site, but you're going about it the wrong way.

Hey guys, I am from archuletafans, and we do have some bashers of DC there, but also THERE ARE SOME WHO REALLY LIKE COOK!! take me for example, I am a diehard Archie fan, but I also like Cook and wish him the best. Alot of the people there are younger and that is why sometimes it gets kind of defensive and also why it is so active.
I came here to see how the Cook fans are and try to make our two fan groups be friends! I am trying over there to get them to quit bashing cook or anyone for that matter. So if you guys try too, maybe we can have some peace between us!! Wouldnt that be great for the Davids' sake???

Hey guys ....just wanted to say that we now have a thread over there about helping with the plan to get Adam Cook to the finale. And the response has been great so far! I already feel like there is a better relationship going on!! yay!

we also have a American Idol Peace Treaty that people are signing to agree to not bash or be mean to toher contestants or their fans!!

And i love David Cook. =] I started a David Cook Lovers thread over at Archie's forums, cause i was tired of people bashing him. And then right after that, someone started a David Cook Haters thread. Whatever. Those people are immature, and have no life. They just have to bash the competition for Archie. And they got banned for it. XD so there. Hahaha.

But yeah, i know some Archie fans can be jerks. It makes me sad. Cause i want everyone to be nice to each other!!!!!!!!!

The DCook bashing is so serious on there, it's funny...If you need a good laugh, you can find it on the DC bashing threads there...LOL.

I agree, also being apart of AF there are some of us over there that REALLY are trying to make an effort to show support for David Cook! We do like him and want to support him the best that we can. It's not just about liking Archuleta but about having respect for BOTH (I can only speak for myself though). Unfortunately, there are many, MANY.. ugh MANY younger Archuleta fans there who have yet to learn about tact, and well to be honest, maturity. So sadly, it has lead to much bashing and truthfully hateful words. I am relatively new there, but just in the short period of time I've been there, I myself (and others) have been involved in many threads stating how respect for DC needs to be shown. I'm hoping that in time, negativity will stop. Maybe that's a pipe dream, but one can hope, right? The trend, although slow, seems to be headed towards a more respectful atmosphere, I hope it will continue.

Nonetheless, there are some Archuleta fans who do respect, admire and "love" Mr. Cook. I just hope that all the negativity doesn't turn you all off to those of us who aren't like that. And if so, at least let me extend somewhat of a peace offering and let you know that some of us are trying.

I was curious and went there. I found some of the comments there really childish and imature. I saw one saying that they want DC autograph just so they can burn it. WTH?! They really do bash DC over there and even use the word HATE. I'm not rooting for Archuleta cos I don't really like his performance, I don't hate him. It's a competition, so people can criticise a certain things they do or songs they sing on the show. I think the people here have their thoughts and opinion about Archuleta and they certainly express it, but mostly I just found them sarcastic or sometimes funny. However trash talking a person's personal life or even the way they look is wrong. One even said that she found DC greasy. That is just mean.

I say that we ignore the immaturity and not be the same level as they do. I have nothing against the people that support Archuleta, we all have our favourite. Just a small fraction of people, think about what you said and grow up a little.

And seriously, their site have twice as much as the people who visit this site. (Random thoughts)

Quick edit: The people here have a better sense of humour! I sometimes wet my pants laughing so hard. And i certainly love those PG comments. Ok, I'm done.

I dislike Acrhuleta. I dont understand why everyone likes him so mutch. I dont mean to offend anyone. David Cook is my American idol and no one can change that
