I didn't see it when it first aired, either. I was out that evening, and a friend texted me that I had to start voting for David Cook because I constantly have a stack of those books on my coffee table!

It's when he sang "All right now" and Simon told him that the video (him revealing that he's a word nerd) didn't help his peformance at all... but on the contrary I thought it helped him a lot!

As an English major, I totally fell in love with him for that. Then after hearing Simon's comment about the crosswords thing not helping him, I was angry. Hey, the English language is totally awesome. Says the English major. Yeah.

Side note. The greatest sounding word is definitely "spelunking."

i think this wordnerd thing just made David a whole lot more interesting. It made lots of people pay attention and knowing how women just love intelligent men, it just adds more spice to David.

I am so glad that david chose to reveal that wordnerd side of him.
