So my sister has been listening to Radio Disney and they play him like every 10 minutes on there. Has anyone heard him on anything else?

That is good that they are playing him so often.
I haven't heard him that much on the other stations
Wish we did!

I hear him on KRBE 104.1 Houston, but some other station here is playing it as well. It was on my car radio and I waited til it finished and went into a salon and while I was there, heard it play again a few minutes later.

On KRBE on DJ keeps saying he loves the song!

The HAC station here plays it quite often during the week and has been for a little over 2 weeks now. Saturday and Sunday is 80's weekend.

4 spins yesterday on 105 HAC here in Portland. Mostly early morning

My local Top 40 station has a case of Cookie love. They play TOML 4 or 5 times a day and have been doing so for a month.
He was the #3 most requested song on tonight's Hot 8 at 8 countdown. And..... right before his song was played, there was a nice little radio promo from Mr. Cook himself. I had the privilege of hearing his lovely voice saying: "Hi, this is David Cook, your American Idol. You're listening to J-Dub (that's the evening DJ) playing Youngstown's best music on Hot 101."
Nice!

TOML was in heavy rotation this afternoon on Sirius Hits 1 -- I heard it at 1:00, 3:00 and 5:00! And they're still promoting it as part of their "Ear Poppin' New Music" promos. Plus the display on my Sirius receiver has them promoting the interviews they have with him that are up at www.sirius.com/hits1.

He also did his own intro over the weekend on the Hits 1 Countdown:

He probably sat in a recording studio one day a few weeks ago doing promo after promo -- "Hi, this is David Cook from American Idol and you're listening to..."

ETA: Just as I posted this TOML came on Hits 1 again! That's four times in the past 8 hours -- gee that's almost as much as "Money Honey!" laugh.gif I have one of those receivers that rewinds and replays, so I listen to TOML over and over again. Drives my family nuts!

I don't listen much to the radio since I'm always playing DC / Axium CDs in my car. But a co-worker who knows I am a big fan said she heard TOML on Richmond's Lite 98.

Has anyone heard TOML on XM's 20 on 20? I keep voting there, but haven't heard him played yet.

Here's where to vote: 20on20_vote

I've heard Time of My Life about 9 times in the past 2 days on Q102 here in Cincinnati. smile.gif

They play a lot of new music & some 90's music.

That is great, every time they played him on radio is a good surprise, I love it.

I have only heard it two times while in Ocean City, Maryland last week but not here on any other Maryland o Washington, DC stations. What do I have to do to get them to play it?
LOL.

TOML is getting a lot of airplay on Sirius Hits 1 (channel 1 on the Sirius Satellite Radio service), which is great since this is a service which is national! I've been keeping track for the third day in a row and it's now being played consistently every 2 to 3 hours, which means I've been hearing it 5 or 6 times a day since I keep my radio on in my kitchen all day long. Up until now I've heard it maybe 2 or 3 times a day.

And I have one of those receivers that can rewind and replay for up to an hour, so I usually end up listening to it 10+ times every time it's on!

The other thing I've noticed is that when they play TOML it's either right before or right after "Money Honey" which is their #1 song right now (and which gets played at least once -- and on occasion twice! -- an hour), so TOML is in good company!

TOML did get airplay 1 time that I know of at WIHT in DC which is the top 40 station there. By all accounts with this song being the winning song, it really shouldn't be doing as well as it is doing. laugh.gif The fact that Z100 is playing it is a surprise to everyone. lol It's not getting airplay in Chicago yet which ranks 3rd in the US among the top 40 stations. Well, all you can do is try to request it. There is nothing that the listeners can really do to make a station play a song. If the listeners get too pushy, then it ticks the DJ's off. The DJ's have no say so in what gets played. The decision is totally up to the program directors (their bosses). DJ's aren't going to play a song that isn't on their playlist. I know it's frustrating especially knowing that only certain idols seems to get airplay where others don't.

My main concern right now, and some of the other fans share this sentiment too. We are hoping that the first single from the CD will be released before the CD comes out and not afterwards. Jordin's first single was released before her album last year and so was Blake's. By getting the first single out ahead of the CD, it keeps the artists fresh in the minds of the fickle public. lol It doesn't help a CD when the single comes out after a CD is released because the public attention spans are so short and they easily move on to something else and it basically kills a CD's chances of doing well. Personally, I don't see RCA making this mistake. smile.gif

One thing that helps some idols see success and not so much for others is payola which is really unfortunate in some cases, but that is how radio works. In other words, money makes the world go round. wink.gif Payola is basically "pay for play" where the record label shells out $$$$ to stations to get songs played. Most people believe that this is why TOML is doing as well as it is because right now, it's dropping on i-Tunes, but the airplay is still on the increase. I know some don't like the idea of payola, but if means Cookie gets the label support necessary, then I'm all for it. wink.gif If you notice, just about all but one of the 2nd place finishers now are without a record deal and most feel it's because of the lack of promotion that they get versus what the winner receives.

TOML is being played in Chicago on WTMX FM-101.9 (the MIX) approximately 5-6 times per day- during drive time on 6-25. This is the only station I have heard play the song. FRESH just took DC off their request list. They never played the song anyway.

You just brought up another good point. I've noticed that station is playing it quite often. smile.gif As far as a station showing a song on their playlist it doesn't matter if obviously they don't play it. wink.gif One thing to look for is the official "adds" of a song to a playlist by a station. That is what the site AllAccess does every Tuesday. Usually, if you see a station listed there as an official add, then usually you will start hearing the song soon if you haven't already. smile.gif
