David, I have to say that your singing got me interested in American Idol this season. In the past, I have only seen the show maybe once or twice. This season, I became curious about some of the present contenders. As as result, I decided to tune in. In general, Archuleta's and Mercado's performances throughout the season were good, but your performance was awesome.

I honestly loved your renditions of "Always Be My Baby," "The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face, "Hello," "Billie Jean," and "All I Really Need is You." You were able to turn pop songs into rock songs that could be played on regular rock and soft-rock channels and you sang each of those songs with a lot of soul. I hope that with your up and coming album, some of these songs will be available. But if none of them are, I hope that you and the producers will add some re-made versions of older songs, spiced up and performed in a way that only you could perform them.
