there is a thread at AI Forums where the word number thing actually developed. Someone there (I believe she just joined our board as well) has been keeping track of the numbers. There is a whole long list. I don't think it makes sense for us to be assigning any "official" numbers here. Perhaps the person who started it all can help us to merge the list between forums. I just don't think it is right for there to be overlap. Especially since I only joined AI Forums to get my official word nerd #.

I've been signed up at americanidol.com for over a year now, but I haven't gotten around to getting a WN#. I kinda agree with Beth that you don't need a number just to say you're a fan of DC.

Word Nerd #2026 here... yeah, I signed up at AI.com two years ago, when I was into Ace Young, but I didn't see the purpose of staying there. When I heard about the WN # thread, I had to remember my old sign-in info just so I could get my WN #. If David hadn't been a part of AI this year, that screen name of mine at AI.com would probably still be gathering dust.
