David Cook > David Cook > All About David Cook

I too have a massive "school girl crush" on David Cook. I thought I was being sly about about it but lets see...the fact that I've never blogged and bought music online until now....Could those be clues? Anyway, my husband has been a pretty good sport. He even asked me yesterday if I wanted to "watch some David Cook to get me in the mood." Isn't that funny. Anyway, I don't think he minds as long as he's reaping the benefits...Enough said. I wonder if David Cook knows how much impact he's had on people's "extracurricular activities."

LMAO My husband was traveling for work last week when DC won and was disappointed because he knew he would have gotten lucky. laugh.gif

I couldn't agree more. Some lucky, married men have David to thank for their wive's sudden peak in extracurricular activities! David Cook is the female's version of Viagra. Who needs a pill when all you have to do is think about "Nookie with Cookie." wink.gif But remember ladies, only use a directed. Excessive thoughts of "Nookie with Cookie" could backfire...do NOT scream his name while with your significant other, it could get ugly. tongue.gif

What's funny is that after I downloaded MOTN and played it several times, my husband picked up my iPod, turned it around in his hands a few times and sheepishly asked, "uh, you can hook this thing up in the bedroom, can't you?" So apparently DC has a romantic effect on men as well as women!

Yesterday my husband told me he had a dream about David Cook and I said "OMG, what happened, did your wife have sex with him???" He said no, we were out somewhere and heard his song come on and then David came walking out and I freaked out. Funny that he's dreaming of him.

my boyfriend calles DC my 'other boyfriend'. hahaha. everytime he does something stupid he says ' i suppose david cook wouldnt have done that'. apparently he thinks that i think DC walks on water. (which i dont by the way- he is a cool guy, but by no means perfect).

exactly right! even my bf called DC as my boyfriend (minus the "other" word there). hahaha funny. he's kinda jealous every time i talk about DC, or doing some things that are connected with DC. you know, jealous to an AMERICAN IDOL WINNER/REAL ROCKSTAR is kinda weird, though. lol biggrin.gif

*giggles at this* You know what's funny though... David has admitted to reading message boards, and this was one of the first few ones.... I bet he'd do a 'Brooke White red' lol.

On that note though... *gringringrin*

I said something yesterday about DC being my BF, and my husband just laughed and said that Carrie Underwood was his GF. So I guess if DC gets me going and CU gets him going then there isn't really a problem...is there?

Shouldn't be. I kind of wish my hubby would let himself admit to a bit of the celeb love; I know he likes Jessica Alba and Angelina Jolie, and I'd have no problem if he joined fangroups for them or whatnot, because it's harmless fun, but he doesn't see it that way. He thinks that he's being disrespectful to me if he were to admit to liking them, and he thinks it's disrespectful to him for me liking David. Grrr. angry.gif

I think my husband has a man crush on David. He has been talking more word nerdy lately, ever since his watched that video of Sy talking about DC's vocabulary. Then he cut his hair all David-like. He has done alot of things the entire season to lead me to believe that I am right. You can just tell.........lol.
