i lOVE michael johns!! <3 he is so good and he is really hot!!

He's def. one of my other fav. guys. I like him, David Archuleta, and obviously David Cook(otherwise I wouldn't be her! lol)

He is my other favourite. I like him too.

He's super talented.

I really like Michael, but I don't think we've seen his full potential just yet. If you have ITunes, search for his old band 'Film' on there -- 'Q', 'Chemical Wonder', and 'Get Away' are all available to download. He sounds wonderful on these songs, plus he really has a great recording voice. I just wish he'd step on stage and really blow everyone away like I think he can.

I just really want to bump this to say that Michael is goregous and SOOO talented. I'd buy his stuff.

I'm a fan of Michael Johns, I love his voice, his looks and accent and I really believe he has the complete package. He can sing anything. I became fan of Michael Johns first ever since I saw his audition, then I became a fan of David Cook and they're both my no. 1 now. I also love their friendship.. and I'm really hoping that it will be these two are the ones who will make it in the finale. Win or lose, they'll make it very far.

Off topic:
I love Australia, we went there last year to visit my sister who lives in Melbourne. I'm really hoping that my sister will be able to petition me soon because I really loved it there.. the people are very nice too.

I honestly can't bring myself to words as to what to say about this.....all I can tell you is that this was a total mistake, and I'm to the point of tears...

Michael Johns, you are a brilliant singer and a wonderful person....we all will love ya till the day we all die....you truly are also the real deal...you deserve to be there....

I am currently listening to Michael's studio version of Dream On. OMG! It's amazing.

Yes...they're practically best buddies....and I think he was to the point of tears....you could see him at the end of the show saying something like "This isn't right...." over and over again...

^^ Michael & David C. were roommates while on the show, so they were REALLY close, & Jason was also their roommate, & Jason wasn't even applauding at the end. Did anyone notice that? I think he was too devastated to even react.
David looked so beyond devastated too.. =[
I cried for 45 minutes straight during & after the show.. I miss him THAT much, & I voted A LOT for Michael, so I'm really pissed. It's rigged, but I posted all about this on his board. [I'm under the same name for those that are there too].

Awwww. All his studio recordings are amazing!!! He has such an incredible studio voice.

I realize this is a competition, but David Cook and Michael Johns are best buddies. These people have become family and some have become closer friends than others, I am sure. David thinks Michael Johns is such a talent and I know he is very sad tonight.

I'm still in utter shock! David is my all time favorite, but Michael was a close second. I thought he was an amazing performer, who knows how to give the crowd what they want. He did NOT deserve to go home this week, and the fact that he did just kills me. I'm really going to miss his amazing voice, crazy good looks, and the adorable bromance that he and David formed!

Did you notice Jason singing along to "Dream On"? They only showed him for a split second, but he was OBVIOUSLY crying. It made me so sad!
David just looked stunned and speechless. I feel so sorry for him losing his AI buddy.

i noticed Jason singing. I also noticed; that Syesha,Carly and KLC - had there arms around each other, and KLC tried to pull Jason near, and he didn't want to go near her.

I bawled. I'm not even going to front, I'm absolutely devastated.

I don't blame him!!! lol.

I'm sad, but not surprised. Michael, while incredible talented and sexy, was not consistent. He always seemed to be in the middle of the pack, except in recent weeks. It took him too long to build up a fanbase.

I think others should have gone before him......but thankfully we have the tour!

Sorry I'm on such a Kristy-hating kick tonight, but I just need to get this out. Does anyone else find her a little man-ish? She kind of has a pretty face, but she's built like a dude! I can't quite figure out what it is, either. She has really broad shoulders or something. And on TV Guide Channel the other day they said that she's a cage fighter?! wtf!

Ugh.. I saw that too, Sleela. I'm so sad he's gone. I still cant believe it. Seriously, AI is just about a joke. KLC gets to stay and Michael doesnt. Absolute bologna. She should have gone home. Thank goodness David was safe tonight. This really makes me worry for future weeks.

OMG! I've always said that!! It's her shoulders!! They're really broad and they make her walk like a man. I think she even sits like one. Plus, those eyebrows.. ewwww..

I'm glad someone else knows what I'm talking about! A couple of my guy friends think she's really hot, and I'm like, are you serious?! She does stand/sit/walk like a man also. Gah. She needs to go back to the barn she was born in.

I can't believe Michael was kicked off tonight! I was not expecting that at all. Bad decision America!

And to think.. if she weren't on American Idol, she'd want to be on America's Next Top Model.

Why my oh my, somebody other than me and my sweet daughter cannot stand Kristy Lee? LOL, ROFL....
Last week she was voting like a mad woman, and said, "I even voted eight times for Kristy...I mean, I wouldn't want her brother to break the engagement!!!" This from a fresh faced fourteen year old!!! HAHAHA!
Let us face it, we all hate her...okay, I'm in a very "negative Kristy Lee space" myself tonight; perhaps it is because the only friggin' reason the good ole' knee slappin' beaach is still on the show is that there is no other straight up country girl to vote for, so she gets the bible beltin, knee slappin, cousin marryin' bazillion votes out there that don't know what good rock and roll, blues, R&B, etc., etc., etc. IS!!!!! PHEW!! Did I say that? I do think that the dark side of Archie was channeling thru my fingers as they danced upon the keyboard....lol.
Oh, lettuce not forget (YES I DID THAT ON PURPOSE!) that she is the numero uno contestent on American's Worst Idol, or whatever the heck it is called...that means she gits all them there votes, tooo....two...to.

Okay, yes, I WAS SHOCKED BEYOND BELIEF!!! But I don't think Carly was the person who was especially shocked--did you see Cookie??? His roomie? He was just blank--and the final shot of him was one of anger--because, just as you are doing, people are saying, "I thought blank and blank would make it at least another blank weeks...." THIS IS A WEEKLY TALENT CONTEST, and that is why Simon is so right on--he listens to each performer, one at a time, each week--and, sure, we should expect improvement and a so called "pushing the envelope," so to speak, per each of their past performance histories; MICHAEL JOHNS HAS CONSISTANTLY IMPROVED, EACH WEEK GOTTEN BETTER, LEARNED TO DANCE (LOL, REALL!), LEARN TO PUT ON A LOOK, AND PUSH HIS VOCALS TO THE MAX...everything AI is supposed to be all about! THAT is why I AM PISSED off....
We cannot even start to say who should be a finalist now...it all has to do with HOW EACH OF OUR AMERICAN IDOLS PERFORM ON A WEEKLY BASIS! Of course, we have our favorites, and I am a devout Cookian, lol, but hey, lets face it, he was lucky not to have fallen into the bottom three--I enjoyed Michael's more than BOTH Cookie's and Archie's performances--it was just so friggin' awesome, so "right on," and he DID NOT DESERVE TO GET VOTED OFF.
So, next week, while we hit redial for our favorite idol, let's all ALSO ACTUALLY VOTE AN EQUAL NUMBER OF TIMES FOR THE IDOL WE HONESTLY THINK DID THE ABOVE (talent contenst, improvement, developement, etc., etc....) That way we are actually playing the game fairly.
Wouldn't it be cool if the most improved, most versatile, most diverse person whom advanced on a weekly basis MOST CONSISTANTLY actually won this year? I would be all for it, even if it meant that my personal favorite was not the "winner." THEY ARE ALL WINNERS--I WILL NEVER FORGET MICHAEL JOHNS! He rocked my world with Bohemian Rhapsody, We are the Champians, We Will Rock You!

Ryan sucks for actually saying, "last year at this time we decided not to vote anyone off..." THAT was just about the cruelest five seconds that anyone could have handed out..

SAD TRUTH BE SAID, IT IS ALL ABOUT THE FAN BASE--KRISTY LEE IS THERE BECAUSE SHE IS THE ONLY MAINSTREAM COUNTRY MUSIC GIRL, AND THE SOUTHERN MAINSTREAM BIBLE BELT, KNEE SLAPPIN', CORN COB PIP SMOKIN' GOOD OLD BOYS N' GALS WILL VOTE FOR HER!!!! :sarcastic: Not because of her enduring weekly talent...and now there opens up an entire new million upon million of voters that used to be dialing for Michal; and who will they be voting for??? Well, in a perfectly fair world, they would vote for the best, the brightest weekly talent star...but that ain't gonna happen, DREAM ON....DREAM UNTIL YOUR DREAMS COME TRUE!!!!

I noticed Jason singing when they showed him for a split second, but I'll have to watch the video back. But yeah he looked pretty upset, but at the end, when Michael had finished singing, my mom pointed out how Jason wasn't applauding.. he just had his arms crossed. I'll watch it back though.

I feel bad for David too losing Michael, it's hard losing a close friend, & not spending the rest of the days with them. But there's always the awesome tour I'm sure. =]

I so felt David's sadness when Michael was announced the one to leave. It was definitely not his time to go, but I think people got so comfy that they assumed he was gonna be safe. (kinda like the week that Chris Daughtry went) Oh well, if it's just solely for talent, he shouldn't have gone.

I don't get why everyone is so hard on Kristy for Michael's leaving. I mean, she had nothing to do with it.

At least take comfort in the fact that she'll probably completely bomb next week. They're doing Mariah Carey, right? -tries to imagine KLC turning Mariah into country music and fails- I'll be much happier if I don't have to see her horse squat or her squeeze-the-eyes-shut-when-I-hit-a-not-so-high-high-note expression anymore, but she doesn't bother me like she seems to bother some of you. o_O;

As for Michael himself, I am so frustrated. I mean, c'mon! He even attempted the insane Steven Tyler wailing! Didn't quite pull it off, but it was close enough.
But nooo, he goes home instead Syesha, the cardboard cutout with a pretty voice or Carly, who stopped dead toward the end of her performance for some reason. -wonks head against keyboard repeatedly-

Michael wasn't my favourite, but I think he is still very talented! There was something nice about him and he seemed like a goos person. Sad that he had to leave the competition. I think Kristy should have gone home. Or Syesha.

But I'm very happy that David didn't go anywhere. :>
