Anyone else on here missing the weekly excitement, the phones charging, the finger exercises, etc?? I know I sure am!! Although, at least I can watch R and K, and Ellen over and over to get my "fix"....! Somehow, it's not the same, though...

I remember I was like freaking out this time last week waiting for the results to be read it seemed to take forever to get down to it though but it was oh so worth it

yeah I miss it but David won so be happy

and although it will start to die down shortly, his appearances on talk shows every day this week sure make my day.

You just made me sad. At least I've gotten my fill of David with all of the interviews this week. I know there were people who were worried what I was going to do when the show ended. I'm really hoping David keeps that online journal going so I don't have too much withdrawal.

SYTYCD is a nice show but by no means a replacement for AI and esp DC on AI. <sigh>

I was COOKing dinner tonight and I kept thinking about David and I couldn't focus. It's Tuesday night, there's nothing on TV and I'm back to watching recaps of the show.

Yes. They re-ran the first night of the auditions last night, I think. I was kind of distracted by this thing called 'work.' lol.

They're just tee-ing up SYTYCD as AI's 'summer replacement' so that it can piggyback off of a captive audience, expecting to see a performance competition show each week.

Nice show. Just not AI, imo. Especially no AI this season with DC.

I'll admit it seems kind of strange to not be sitting in front of the TV watching the last few minutes of AI and getting ready to vote, but last week this time, I was so angry at the comments our David got from the judges that I began to power dial like a mad woman and now I can honestly say I'm thrilled he won so it's not all bad.

I actually made dinner tonight and gave my son a bath before putting him to bed.

It's so weird being on here right now instead of voting I'm used to having 2 phones in my hands and voting like a crazy person until 11:00 LoL I don't know what to do with myself, it's weird having this free time of 2 hours! LOL

I worked on the scrapbook for a while, which helped to give me my DC fix...I also had to watch Hell's Kitchen. That's my guilty pleasure now! But...oh, how I miss that electronic voice on the AI voting lines...he just was so much fun to talk to each week. Does anyone know if HE is single????

That man greeting us on the AI phone lines is mine. I've already declared that he and I were clearly having an affair -- so many hours together, a sleepless night last Tuesday as I voted from East to West Coast. <sigh> Yup, he's mine.
