That guy was a hoot! I don't think we will ever forget his audition.

I was eating dinner with my cousin and her daughter this evening and they brought that up. We began singing and....dang if I can't get that song out of my head now!

simon was right with that horrible feeling he had..the song being a hit. haha. i'm from the philippines and he is too. rather than david cook getting more attention being this year's american idol in our country, well "i am your brother guy" has more pics in the newspapers. haha. but i'm still on cookie's side (of course!).

it's a very annoying catchy song. those type of songs you hate but can't resist singing it.. can't get it ouf my head!

Hahaha, I love that guy ever since the auditions. My classmates and I were singing that song the whole time in school. Randy and Paula really love Renaldo Lapuz. He's such a funny guy!!!

I love when they do funny bits on the finale like this! My two favorites from past seasons were the one where they had the Clay Aiken wannabe singing and then Clay came out and the kid totally freaked. It was SO funny! The other was season 4, I think, where they did the top 10 worst auditions and my friend from high school Rob Solomon was #4! No joke! My sister was in a band with him though and while he wasn't the best singer, he could carry a tune, so he just did that to get on TV.

Did you see that Simon was trying hard not to laugh while Rey was singing? I think that Simon was "eating a sweet" again.

i didn't actually think his audition was bad.. that one who sang moses whatever was worse even. and that guy with his i-don't-know-what-like-a-freakin'-screaming-girl-who's-not-sreaming-at-all-but-sounds-like-it voice. whoa. i didn't understand what i just said. but yeah. renaldo lapuz was wearing the same costume in the finale! i mean.. he didn't at least made effort to make a new one. bigger than thaat thing as what i would've expected. a gold costume maybe? and put up one hell of a freak show.. whatever.

I thought his performance on the finale was what the show needed! It was hilarious!
And I loved his audition! Way better than William Hung!
I think him and Simon have made a special bond! LOL!!

Honestly, I was glad that Renaldo Lapuz was brought back. Yet at the same time, I couldn't help but laugh away, at the way Randy, Paula and Ryan grooved along to his song - yet once again.

Fortunately, I can dare say that he did not butcher any song because the Brothers Forever song was his original composition - he can sing it any way he wants. In fact, I'll have him over some potato-head known as William Hung anytime.

He's another reason to prove that Season 7 was the best season for me. Ever. Haha.

Proud to be Pinoy! Haha. I remember, almost all of my friends and officemates had I AM YOUR BROTHER as their ringtones. For a time, RENALDO became phenomenal here in the Philippines, at least.

That song is so damn catchy!

Hahaaa, it kinda reminded me of Onkar from X Factor a few years ago. I'm not quite sure why it reminded me of him considering they're completely different!

My daughter and I remembered him from his first audition so seeing him again was a big hoot! LOL. We both laughed so hard!

I found his audition absolutely hysterical and they just let him go on and on and on....and then Randy and Paula joined him...I loved it!!! I found it extremely amusing also when they had him on the finally...I only wish Simon would have joined in the fun onstage. For a week after the audition I was going around sining that to my friends at work who watch idol too and since the finale I've been doing it again. In fact one of my friends at work just helped me out with something so I sent her a thank you email and at the end I wrote...I am your brother, your best friend forever....and then put til the end of time!!!!!!!

My kids, 5 and 9 and I loved Renaldo. We sing ''I Am Your Brother'' all the time.

The freakiest thing about his audition is the fact that you'll have just two phrases to sing over and over and just couldn't stop it no matter what. In the end you'll infect the people around you and in time, you'll all end up with the song as your LSS. (Last Song Syndrome)

I cuaght Renaldo's performance on the finale and i must say it was hilarious! And i agree with CanadianCookie and Cookey's Fan that he's much better to watch than William Hung!

that was an awesome performance and i thought it was better when the marching band came out to accompany Renaldo
