Hello DC - Many thanks for selecting "The World I Know" to close out the last show. Ed Roland was on the radio after the show (92.9, DAVE FM no less) and he raved about your rendition. Totally cool. I saw you perform more of the song on Ellen. I can't stop watching it.
When you start touring on your own, please stop by Atlanta. I know you could fill the Philips Arena (biggest one in town). Front row is where I want to be when that happens. I am on the waiting list on Amazon for Analog Heart.
SNL did a hilarious skit about the Cougars and a talk show. You would be the natural guest for them. I can see it now... It would be even better if you performed on SNL the same night.
I was thinking that a collaboration with you and Josiah Lemming would get lots of attention. He seemed to be a better writer than singer on AI. The PR would be phenomenal. Plus it would be great to see him get a break. I really hope he isn't living in his car any more.
David, your music makes me feel things I haven't felt in a long time. Before hearing you, Bruce Springsteen was the one that really touched me with his music. I listen to his Pete Seeger cover album in my car every day. You are quickly replacing him. I see you as this generation's answer to Bruce.
Continue with the positive engergy. Peace.
