I know that this silly but it will make me feel better posting this message even though I know David may never read it.

First of all, too bad I never saw you perform while you were here in Tulsa. Unfortunately, I am a little bit older than you, not quite 10 years older, so I don't get out much like when I was younger. I hope one day I will get to see you perform here in Tulsa. I am very proud of you and the way you represent OK and MO. Congratulations!

Second, I only started watching Idol during Season 6 and I never voted until this season. I am glad you won and I am glad I was a part of it by voting.

Finally, your win brightened my day so much. I had just gotten bad news earlier that day and your win made my day end on a happy note. Most people when they have bad things happen to them they have nothing but bad memories, for me............it will always be good memories because of your hard work and I was able to celebrate your win.
