anyways, discuss your favorite(s) from this season.

mine was danny noriega. so much sass. i wanted him to be my best friend. i was pretty heartbroken when he got voted off.

MICHAEL JOHNS without a doubt!! i soo love that guy. and i have to admit..at first i liked him more than DC. and then DC sang hello and the rest was history. dang and the duo. MJ and DC? bromance at its best!

Jason and Carly, hands down.

Jason was just himself, and he didn't try to fit the Idol mold. He was genuine and had this amazing voice and talent.

Carly was the one who I could see as being one of the nicest people in person. She just seemed so down to earth and real, and appreciative.

Michael Johns. seriously that guyis just sooooo hot. he looks great and he sounds great and apparently he can do a very sexy dance LOL but yeah it was MJ for me until he got voted off (damn!!!!!) and i shifted my adoration to someone named David Cook.

she has a good voice. she was actually the first that i loved. especially in the hollywood audition. she was GOOD!
but then David took the stage, and the rest is history.

but I liked Carly too, Chikezie (forget it I can never spell his name), and David H.

With the exception of Amanda Overmyer I really liked this group of people. They seemed to all have their own personality and flair. MJ is smoking hot and just seems like a fun guy. Brooke & Jason just seem so sweet. Carly would be fun to hang with. Archie is, well, Archie. Chikeze has a great personality. Ram was just so bubbly it was cute. Kristy Lee Cook seems to have a heart of gold. Syesha is beautiful.

What a great season

Jason Castro got on my nerves. he's got such a good voice.. but he kept messing up alot. especially in the end.

Well, I like MJ, Carly and Brooke... But yeah, I agree that this year's bunch is the most lovable lot.

I'm for Jason Castro! Loved his voice too. And is also goofy like our Cookie.

My other favorite american idol contestant was david hernandez!!!

To be honest, Cook was my one and only this season. If he hadn't caught my attention, I wouldn't have been active in watching the show. But as time went on and because of that, I did go on to like Carly and Michael. And after the finale, I now have a certain fondness for Archie, too. This season had a lot of great people on it.

Jason is my 1st. Cookie is actually my 2nd.

hmmm I liked Micheal, Carly, Brooke, and Archie. They were my other favs along with Cook, but as the competition went on I started liking them less and David more. There were only a few that I didn't like actually

Jason Castro was my #2 choice, after DC.
I really enjoyed his mellow sound, his beautiful eyes/smile, and his song choices (EXCEPT for I Shot the Sheriff).
I will buy his CDs.

I also liked Michael Johns, Carly, and Brooke. I voted for all 5 at one time or another.
(But after watching Michael Johns on Larry King and the finale, he may have shot to #2. What a fun guy!)

Honestly... it was Archie. I started turning against him around top 4 and top 3 but i think that was just my competitive nature wanting DC to be top banana. By the finale I was really starting to like him again... and now I love the little bugger. I never thought I would buy his music... but, well... depending on what his first single sounds like I may buy it... otherwise, i'll probably just find me a free copy somewhere if at all.

the top 10 are all really cool, right? they seem to have gelled pretty well and i love how their personalities all click. i am so jealous of everyone going to see the tour.

i'm kind of liking archie too right now. so there's four of them already.. DC, MJ, CS and DA. but jason castro is pretty cool too. well all things said, they're all great anyway. and of course, fun fun!

Michael Johns, but also love Luke Menard and Jason Yeager as well and Archie is pretty good too. Very talented group of people for sure this year.

My #2 is Syesha...i love her voice. She was my overall favorite until David sang "Hello" (but I'm proud to say I voted for David every week since he was my favorite guy from the start)

i like this thread! thanks for the topic i really liked the three Davids and Danny Noriega from the beginning in the show. I really thought Danny would make it to the top 12, but I guess vocally Chikezie did have an edge to Danny. For the girls, noone really grabbed my attention much, except maybe for Ramielle. I found it fun watching her vtrs before her numbers.

I had bets with people that this was going to be the final 4... well, at least I got the top 2 correct! But, I really liked almost everyone except Amanda, Jason Yeager, Kady Malloy and Kristi Lee. Everyone else was really great IMO.

I actually didn't tune into the show until the night Michael Johns was voted off (which surprised me - why him?). I thought DC was the best singer by far, but took an instant liking to Jason Castro!!!!

Jason does not have the talent or the drive that DC does, but he is magical. Not just his good looks, but something about his energy and, of course, his voice. He sends me into a trance. I hope he goes on with the music thing, maybe gets some voice training too.

i would definatlly say michael johns! and kristy leigh cook! man too bad their last names are smith!lol! but i was in a shock micheal johns left but hey look at past idol contestants who've done well such as jennifer hudson, kellie pickler and chris daughtrey he will definatlly get something in which cases i hope.

Carly for sure i was soooo sad when she left and i also like Michael i cried when both of them left .

At the beginning I was surprised that I loved most of them actually. Towards the Top 12 though I really liked Michael Johns, Jason Castro, Carly Smithson and David Hernandez. They are the awesome.

I agree that Danny Norega was fun to watch with his sassy attitude...I loved Micheal Johns and Brooke!

Michael Johns - he sounds great, he looks great, he's hilarious and he is from my home town!

I liked Jason, Michael, and Chikezie. I also really liked Brooke at the beginning, but as the season progressed I kind of got sick of her. And, in retrospect, I really liked Archie. I think during the season I was so focused on DC that I became kind of anti-Archie, but he really is very good and had some great performances.

i've always believe these 3 (well, 4 including DC) are unique and original..they make every song extra special..

David Cook was always my #1.
But after him, I must admit Michael Johns and Carly rocked! I was so sad when they left the show, both of them, way too early!
Cookie, MJ and Carly should have definetely been top 3! But Archie was fantastic, so I can squeeze him in there too.
