Number One...I'm a Clay fan and support him no matter what.

Number Two...The majority of fans on all the Idols boards are good, normal fans. That goes for Clay's as well. There might be a minority who go a little too far, but we have that on all sites, including this one. (You know, those who get all bent out of shape because David went on a date with a certain someone?) Just remember there's always a few rotten one in EVERY bunch!

You know what I think is great? That so many Clayfans are also fans of David! Call us what you will, but we're loyal and have supported Clay for five years so David is going to have a lot of incredibly loyal fans looking out for him! As a fellow Clay fan, I'm so happy to see all the support for him over here, and I'm also chooseing not to believe this until Clay himself says whether it's true or not. If it would be true, nothing has changed, I'm still going to support and love Clay forever, and think he'll be an amazing dad!

Whatever the truth is, I will love Clay Aiken always and forever, eternally and unconditionally. It's not a choice, it's the way it is, the way I feel, and I don't really have a choice in it at all ! But since Clay makes me so very happy, I wouldn't have it any other way.

It's funny you mention the Clay fans and loyalty, because I wrote to David Cook the night he won saying I am a fan of his always, and I am known to be VERY loyal

I'm very skeptical over this too. Fellow Claymate, Cookie/Word Nerd here! Until I hear it from Clay, which we hopefully will when he gets over this six month blogphobia, I'm not believing one way or the other.

The Clayboard did have a topic, but that has been took away due to no new information. If Clay want's us to know, he'll tell us. 'Til then... WHERE'S THAT CLACK?!

Probably the best thing for him to do would be to step up and address it asap so the craziness will stop. When there is any sort of controversy regarding Bo Bice, he comes immediately to the forum to address it, either in a post, a blog, a video....whatever. He doesn't let it stew like this. IMO, Clay needs to get this taken care of and then go on promoting his CD. I'm sure it is just tabloid fodder and means nothing.

If Jaymes IS pregnant, which she probably is - it is NOT Clay's place to discuss it - it is HER baby, her life, her choice. She may have some very good reasons for NOT wanting to go public with any info right now. I therefore assume we won't really know anything until after the baby is born in August.

Hello All...

I know it's been a while. I'm sure you know, it's been a full full summer. Sorry we haven't spoken in so long. But, I'm sure you know... I hate putting the cart before the horse. Not my way to tempt fate. But I wanted to stop by, if only for a second, so you could be the first folks I tell.... HE'S HERE!

My dear friend, Jaymes, and I are so excited to announce the birth of Parker Foster Aiken (No hyphens. One first name. One middle name. One last name.)

Parker was born at a hospital in North Carolina just this morning at 8:08 AM. Wow... 8:08 ..08/08/08

Weighed in at 6 lbs 2 oz and measured 19 inches

The little man is healthy, happy, and as loud as his daddy. Mama Jaymes is doing quite well also.

The Aiken family, the Foster family, and the Parker family are all thrilled.

We'll share more at some point in the future. Love to you all!

What's so creepy about Clay Aiken becoming a father???


The man loves children and devotes a lot of his time and money to charities for children with autism and other disabilities. He has a good heart and the child will be loved and cared for.

8 is a lucky number in the Chinese culture. Lots of marriages happened this year on 8-8-08.

And yeah I DID read about Clay's news of the birth of his son. Honestly, I'm still NOT sure what to make out of this news, mostly cos of him having kept completely silent on the topic and only announcing the birth. It would help to get an idea of his reasoning behind all this. That said tho, it IS his private business so he's entitled to keep whatever he wants private.

Latest news I heard is that Clay is returning to Spamalot to reprise his previous role in it, from Sept all the way till Jan 2009.

Clay said, as posted from his Blog above, he never likes to tempt fate so kept shut.

I'm overjoyed for him, and all of us in Clay Nation feel like Aunts! As far as we know, Mama Jaymes is doing well and she and Parker are home safe and sound.

Also, he will be rejoining the cast of Spamalot on September 19th [De-Ja-Vu anybody? ATDW two years to the day] right through to January 4th to reprise his role as Sir Robin.

I totally agree with this. Unfortunately, many fans get to where they feel some sort of ownership over a person and feel it is their God given right to know everything.

While I do feel the entire situation is, shall we say, unique, and that I feel that it will probably just add to the weird stuff that is said about the man, I am happy for him if that is what he wants. It is his life.
