As great as Clay is with kids, he'd make a wonderful father.

If it turns out to be true, I'll probably faint from shock.

He said he wanted kids(even that he would adopt - within the country.) But I seriously don't think he'd do something like this.

Besides, there was already a story a couple of years ago that some girl/woman claimed to have his illegitimate child. It never went anywhere.

anyways, and those boards are like...DEAD. yea, I was gunna post but uh, I dont feel like having those people get all crazy on me.

Well, at the Fan Club board(OFC,) we don't post trash like this.

And, his boards always slow down when he's taking a break.

There are definitely some OTT's out there, but 99% of the fans I know are intelligent, rational people with a firm grip on reality.

In fact, one of our most active threads at the OFC is the one in Stuff(our off-topic forum) about religion and politics. Very intelligent, well-thought-out and constructed debates on abortion, gay rights, poverty, immigration, etc.

A lot of the people and conversations there are almost exactly the same as the ones here. Just substitute David's name for Clay.

Something else I didn't think about until someone at the OFC mentioned it(this si posted there; I was looking in the wrong place.)

We don't post things about his private life. He said that what he does in his private life is no one's business, and we usually try to respect that.

So, I said that if this were true, and he wanted us to know, he would tell us.

Still, most people who have posted in the thread think it's funny, but if true, wish them the best.

That's ok. I've heard a lot worse, believe me.

I know that Clay's fans carry a lot of stereotypes, and some of the OTT's have given us a bad name, and a bad rep.

But, I dislike stereotypes of any kind, so I try to let people know that not all his fans are like that.

And, what I said is true. Ninety percent of what I have read here could have come straight from a Clay board(even from my own mouth.) Just switch the names.

And, stuff like what Jimmy Kimmel did last time Clay was on DON'T help!! I love Jimmy to death, and usually hsi teasing of Clay's fans makes me smile or giggle, but that night, I was just cringing.

ETA:which board did you visit? The RCA board is usually deserted since the Fan Club opened. The OFC usually has a fair amount of people on there, even when he's taking a break. Especially the last couple of days with the AOL Sessions coming out. Right now, there's over 200 people there.

I've just had bad experiences with some of his fans.

I love Clay. And I think he will be a great dad. I was just floored to read this.

As far as personal life... it is a fine line when you are a celebrity at what is and what isn't personal anymore. That is why I do not think I could ever be a celebrity (of course if David decided to run off to Mexico with me I would rethink it). Nothing is sacred or personal anymore. And that is sad.

I'm sorry if you have had bad experiences.

I left the RCA board b/c there was nothing going on, and little that did was in relation to Clay's career or his humanitarian efforts. It's become more a place where the members find personal support for what's going on in their lives, and that's not what I'm looking for. And, I did have a problem with one member. I've had run-ins with a few fans, but they are rare. Most of the fans I know are generous and kind.




I agree. I was so glad when Clay said that, and he has stuck with it. He doesn't bristle quite so much when asked certain things. But, he refuses to feed the beast, either.

And, like he says, there are far more important things going on in the world than who he's dating.

I mean, think about it.

He goes to Afghanistan on a UNICEF mission, and it gets little coverage.

A few months later, he falls asleep on an airplane and his foot ends up on a lady's armrest, and that's newsworthy??

Give me a break.

Oh, yes.(Well, most of them. There are a few who are fans of his talent and personality and whatnot. They see the sexy; they just don't feel it. Kinda like how I feel about David. I can see that he would be sexy to some people; it just doesn't affect me personally.)

I gotta say, when I first read the title of this thread, I thought maybe Raleigh was gonna have puppies(I have no idea if she's spayed or not.)

I live in Raleigh so they give him a bit more coverage here, but still, even then it isn't enough. They took us on a tour of his house, but forget all the help he does with special needs kids in the area.

Of course if he was Angelina Jolie or Brad Pitt he would get lots of coverage.

Honestly, I think some of the media doesn't give proper coverage to the Idols like they deserve. It is like they need to "pay their dues". Even ones like Daughtry or Carrie. Sure they cover their music or their latest weight or date, but forget anything of substance.

I don't think Clay is hot and sexy. I think his voice, personality, desire to help others, mannerisms, background, etc is what makes him "sexy" sexy to me. I would love to sit down with him and just talk. I think it would be the most amazing conversation.

Now Cookie, everything about him wets my whistle. he is all what Clay is, plus the physical attributes. First we would get busy and then we would talk.

I prefer to say I won't believe it until he or Jaymes tells us. But, it can be true without him telling us it is.

ANYTHING in the world "CAN be true". The possibilities in this world are endless. HEY, I could write that I am pregnant with Clay's baby, that doesn't make it so. A stupid gossip site writing crap doesn't make it true. Clay Aiken telling me, THAT is the only thing that would make it true.

Some of his fans are wonderful people....some are not. But, you know, when you are interacting with a group of people from different walks of life and who have different personalities, there are bound to be differences of opinions and, sometimes, hurt feelings. Not that I condone rude behavior on forums, but it is the nature of the beast, I guess. What tends to happen is that some people forget the fact that they are speaking to real people who have feelings and who deserve to be spoken to with respect, even if there is a difference of opinion. Sometimes people also feel that they can hide behind their avatar and screenname because...let's face it...it isn't likely that they will actually run into the other person. They don't know who they really are. They enjoy the fact that they can act with a lot more bravado knowing that they don't have to look the other person in the eye.

I have met wonderful people who I'll always consider my friend and some I would just as soon forget. As long as everyone remembers why they are there....to support whoever it is...and treats each other the way they, themselves, wish to be treated, it can be a great way to come into contact with people all over the country and the world that you wouldn't probably meet otherwise. You get to all enjoy the positive energy that is created through supporting something or someone that is important to you. I look forward to this experience here at this site.

Clay Aiken is the hottest, sexiest man that ever lived. And I envy, with every core of my being, anybody who has a relationship with him. He IS the love of my life, and I DO want him to be happy.

I still won't believe this is true until I hear it from HIM. Which will most likely happen by the end of the day, because this is not something I think he would leave hanging around out there - now that all the TV and News are picking up the story...

Okay, let me ask you Clay fans this. Clay has always maintained he is a Christian person. So if he is in love with this woman, why wouldn't he marry her? And why would he artificially inseminate her? And why for sure would they announce the details to the world?

If she is just a friend and she wanted to have a baby, why announce all this? Ick. Sounds like a publicity stunt.

If he wants a baby, why doesn't he just get married and have one like everyone else? I am truly lost.

WHO the hell IS this rep? Trust me, NOTHING is confirmed until CLAY AIKEN confirms it - Clay is the ONLY reliable source regarding his personal life - PERIOD!!!!!!!!!!

Easy, easy...nothing to get in a fuss about.

May I say, though, that People magazine is a pretty reliable source; they're not in the same boat as US or Star magazines. And likely, on an issue like this, you won't be hearing from Clay, but rather from his representative or a related party's representative on his behalf, being as that is part of their job. Just saying.

attitude? everyone is spreading untruths about Clay - untrue because Clay has NOT confirmed it. that just infuriates me. NOT anyone on THIS board, but the media, etc, is pissing me off.

Clay (and Jaymes) have the fan club board and they have every opportunity to address any issues they wish to on there. As I understand it from talking to a fan, there are over 1000 people waiting over there for Clay to blog. If he wants to deny these rumors, etc. he certainly can quickly do so by issuing a statement.

I for one, believe the basic facts. It's been picked up by all the news services. If it wasn't basically true, Clay's reps would have refuted it by now.

Hahahah...that's the funniest thing I have read all day! I must say I am a little scared about life now having read it. But it could be cool...he's all grown up now and offically able to financially take on the responsibility if it's a "dad" role...but he could just be like a "donor" and that seems to be fine too.

The sister of record mogul David Foster is certainly pregnant - but pop crooner Clay Aiken may or may not be the father.

Celebrity gossip website TMZ reported yesterday that Victoria resident Jaymes Foster is due in August with the former American Idol star's baby. But Foster's former sister-in-law says the rumour is "ridiculous.

"Jaymes is definitely pregnant, that much is true," said B.J. Cook, the ex-wife of David Foster. "I can guarantee that it's not Clay Aiken's baby.

Foster, 50, is a music producer who splits her time between Los Angeles and Victoria. She has worked with several artists, including Josh Groban, Michael Bublé and Aiken, 29, who is best known for placing second on American Idol in 2003.

The two met when Aiken's management company asked Foster to work on his follow-up album to 2003's Measure of a Man. Aiken told Jam! Showbiz the two "got along famously" from the beginning and called the producer "absolutely wonderful.

The two have reportedly become friends and U.S.-based TMZ says "multiple sources" have confirmed they are now having a baby.

"We're told Foster was artificially inseminated," the website wrote. "Clay is a lot more than sperm - we're told he will have an active role in raising the child.

However, controversy continues to swirl.
Earlier, People. com quoted David Foster's agent, Bill Vigars, confirming the reports. Vigars has since denied making the remarks and asked People to pull the article.

Cook flatly denies the rumours. Foster is due in August, she said, but Aiken is not involved.

"She's been pregnant for a while, and kept it under wraps until we knew that everything was going to be healthy and fine," Cook said. "I'm sure she'll be interested to know people are saying its Clay's baby."

Calls to Jaymes Foster were not returned. When reached by phone, David Foster refused to comment on the rumours.

There has also been no comment from Aiken, who has been dogged by questions about his sexual orientation since becoming famous. Last month, Aiken told the television show Access Hollywood there was no need to address his questionable sexuality because people "don't want stuff like that pushed in their face.

I am just scratching my head in confusion

all i know is that as a clay fan myself, i'd rather wait until clay himself says something about it. i'm not going to be upset about it if it is true. clay has mentioned in interviews before about wanting to be a father.

I think the shocker is that it has totally come out of left field.

This is CLAY AIKEN we are talking about - the self-professed "King of Controversy"! Just another episode of As The Clay Nation Turns - always a drama.
