I'm actually a little embarrased to say that I'm leaving a message on a board, and one that you will probably never see. I'm one of the "over-50" crowd that enjoyed your music on AI and will be rushing to the store just as soon as your first project is out.

I am sure you know that the Kansas City area is SO excited to be able to claim an American Idol, and especially one who has so many wonderful qualities. Not only are you incredibly talented and hard-working, your kindness, gentleness and humbleness exude when you are seen with others (your mom did a great job raising you!)

I hope that you will continue to stay grounded in your Midwestern ways as I'm sure you have a long and bright career ahead of you.
