I'm Kristen, from Melbourne, FL (home of Robbie Carrico - no, I don't know him) and I have been a fan of David's since his audition. He is AMAZING. I've been watching American Idol since season three, but this was the first time that I truly CARED about whether or not someone won and I was pulling for David from the start. I have to admit, however, that I did not start voting until late in the game. In past years I would vote and vote and vote and then get annoyed if the person (or persons) I had spent all that time dialing for had then been voted off, so this year I swore I wasn't going to get wrapped up in it..... until Michael Johns was voted off. That lit a fire under my posterior and I made it my goal that that would NOT happen to my David. I was up until 1am the night before the finale, as I'm sure most of you were (or whatever time the voting ended in your time zone), and I don't regret a single minute of missed sleep. I am so thrilled for David that he won. I cried right along with him and have cried a couple times since then (anyone seen the Disney commercial???) and I'm SO looking forward to watching his career blossom. He is such a talented, genuine and interesting soul... and adorable as well.
If he (or anyone close to him) reads this..... CONGRATULATIONS from the depths of my being and "welcome to the planet, welcome to existance.... everyone's here.... everybody's watching you now... everybody waits for you now.... what happens next?"
Love and hugs to all.... especially David
~Kristen
P.S. Oh, and by the way David, if you ARE "GOING TO DISNEYWORLD!!!".... I'd be happy to escort you (having worked there for five years myself)
