Well, since it's an MWK song I don't think that Dave ever sang this solo... lately he's been singing Anodyne in concert, but I'm pretty sure he never did this one.

on wikipedia it said that Neal wrote pretty much all of MWK's lyrics, and mostly by himself. this is wikipedia so i don't know how true that is.

No, that's pretty true. I think that on occasion, Neal and Andy work on lyrics together, but mostly it's Neal. I read some interview (a very early interview, way before David and AI blew MWK up and exposed us all to their amazingness) that typically, he'll write some lyrics, but he keeps his ideas about the music to himself until he and the band can all work on it together.

I do know that David wrote some of the music for Anodyne with Neal, but the lyrics for Anodyne were all Neal.

^I have the ep this song was wrote by Neal and with another one of my favorite songwriters Zac Maloy. Zac co-wrote 4 of the other songs on this ep plus some To Have Heroes stuff. He also co-wrote Come Back To Me,Life On The Moon,and Lie.

Yeah, Zac Maloy has done a lot of work with the guys. I really like him as a songwriter.
